Now United member, dancer and vocalist.
Personality:
Kari is a bubbly, friendly, adventurous and hardworking young woman. She is always kind to others and always ready to help if it is needed. With her friends and family she is the most relaxed. It is easy for Kari to be relaxed and do the things she likes to do. With people she does not know very well Kari is more reserved and held back. She is still kind and respectful towards the other people but always reminds herself that she does not know how they think. Overall she is very fun to be around.
Strengths:
Very knowledgeable, motivated, ready to help, taking care of people, dancing, ballet.
Flaws:
Easily stressed, works to hard sometimes, finds it difficult to ask for help.
Kari was born into a big family in Bergen Norway. She has many aunts and uncles and cousins and at home has a older brother and sister. She has always lived in Bergen and traveled with her family a lot around the Nordic countries but also the other parts of Europe, Asia and south america.
When Kari was three her mother enrolled her in ballet classes and as the girl got older she joined other classes as well. Jazz, hip-hop and street dance followed after ballet. With her dance groups and friends she does performances and competitions and for a long time Kari is very happy. At thirteen though she takes a break from all the dancing after some trouble at school. She takes this time to relax and do new things. Kari takes up other hobbies and focuses on school. during this time she starts singing as well. After a year, a month after her fifteenth birthday Kari takes up dancing again in combination with singing.
She takes more time to herself and starts having fun creating her own choreography's to songs that she enjoys. She documents it all through videos she posts on youtube and starts to make a portfolio for herself, deciding that she will do something with dancing and singing. When years later she hears about the Now United project Kari decides to take on the challenge and does audition, getting a call back to come to the final auditions and makes it onto the group.
Facts:
Kari wants to own two dogs, a cat and a duck, live in the countryside of Norway and possibly buy a farm. The girl loves the outside and animals so that is her solution to wanting any animal she finds cute.
When she was ten years old Kari helped her father build a dancing room in the attic for her to practice. When her father let her use one of the power tools Kari was very enthusiastic and proudly proclaimed that she was going to build a lot of houses in the future as her job.
Besides speaking Norwegian Kari can also speak Finnish. While her family is not from Finland she has learned the language after one of her aunts and uncles moved there. She has been going there every year with her family.
