I saw this off of tiktok (@ maskedshifter) but it seems like it would work really well! This is an awake method!

-lay on your stomach and hug a large pillow with your head resting on the middle of it.
-repeat the affirmation "I want to shift into (persons name) arms." visualize the person from your dr.
-imagine walking into their arms feeling safe and happy. Also imagine things like how they smell or how their clothing feels.
-then say "I am shifting into (same persons name) arms" confidently
-once you feel you have shifted open your eyes and you will be home!
