KAYNE glances at LEE as she takes the device to study it.
KAYNE: That is... an unusual way to solve the issue. But it's useful.
LEE: Thanks.
As LEE rummages through the box, she sets a small ball shaped device on the table. KAYNE picks it up and inspects it as LEE continues rummaging.
KAYNE: What's this?
LEE: That is a reusable explosive.
KAYNE holds the device away from her.
KAYNE: I'm sorry, did you say "reusable explosive"?
LEE: Yup. Dex helped out with this one. He synced the device to this watch so whenever you use the explosive, it will return to the watch.
LEE takes a watch out of the box and hands it to KAYNE. KAYNE looks at the watch in her hand, then at the device in her other hand.
KAYNE: If I may ask. How do you come up with this stuff?
LEE: (shrugs): I don't know. I usually just think of something that would be fun to use against Bakes and make it. Speaking of, I'm gonna need that back when you're done with your mission.
KAYNE raises her eyebrow and LEE quickly picks up the four rectangular devices on the table.
KAYNE: Building blocks?
LEE: Yes. Sort of. Not exactly. Let's say you need to cross a lake that's frozen over. You wouldn't want to use the melting device, because it would melt the ice and you would fall through.
KAYNE: Obviously.
LEE: So I made these.
LEE presses the green button on all four of the rectangles, which turn them into long tank treads with spikes on them. KAYNE looks surprised and takes a small step back.
LEE: Boom. Spiked tracks for better grip on ice. Just press (or throw) them onto the tires of any vehicle and they will automatically stick to the rubber. Once the tracks are on, they will automatically extend to cover the tires. The spikes will protract once the tires are covered and will help you keep the grip on the ice. Then, once you don't need them anymore, you can press the red button on the side and they will fold back into the rectangles for easy transportation.
LEE presses the red button on all four of the tracks and they retract into their smaller size.
LEE: Any questions?
KAYNE: Just one. How old are you again?
LEE: 17.
LEE puts the box back under the desk.
LEE: That's all I've got for you.
LEE hands KAYNE a small bag for the devices and KAYNE starts putting them inside.
KAYNE: (nods to Lee) Thank you. I'll see you when I get back.
KAYNE leaves and LEE sighs in relief and fist pumps the air.
LEE: Yes! No fire ants today!
