Camila's POV

- I don't know why she spoiled me this much, I still wasn't used to Lauren's comforts. Her private jet was bigger than my house, and as we flew to Miami, she and Sofi were talking about American policies in education, and I could hardly believe that my sister knew about those things, although in reality, she was quite mature.

- Meanwhile, I listened to a selection of songs from The Smiths on my iPod, singing on the bass as I watched the Miami Bay approach through the window of the plane.

- Lauren caressed the palm of my hand with her fingers and I, I linked my fingers with hers slowly, feeling the touch of her skin travel every inch of mine.

- Upon arrival in Miami, a car was waiting for us just down the stairs of the plane and we got into the car, which would take us first to the hotel to drop off Lauren and then my sister and me home. I noticed Lauren tense, but she was smiling at me trying to relax.

- "My parents don't bite, you know?" I told her, causing her to laugh as she looked straight ahead.

- "But it is important to know that I am going to meet your parents, so I don't know." Lauren shrugged, and Sofi's voice rose.

- "Dad might bite." She was looking at a magazine that was in the car. "Sofi! Don't say that, it's not true honey." I caressed her arm when I saw Lauren's face, which went even paler than before. "Okay, I'm going to die." Lauren murmured, and I shook my head laughing, looking at her with a smile.

- "Just take off your suit, wear something a little more casual." I narrowed my eyes and let out a small laugh, watching the car stop in front of Lauren's hotel.

- "I'll keep that in mind. See you later." She leaned in to kiss me for a moment, closing her eyes, and then got up to get out of the car.

- We gave the address of our house to the driver, and we left for it. Sofi kept looking at her cell phone, and I through the window. I had missed the city a lot, especially the summery temperature that was all year round, the palm trees, the carefree people and everything at a slower pace than Los Angeles, where I was lucky on the day that there was no traffic jam on the highway , that she was on time for work or that she found a free space between appointments to speak with Lauren.

- When we got out of the taxi, we were in front of our house. A residential area near the beach, not one of the most luxurious houses but, it was something.

- We didn't need to knock on the door because my mother opened the door and she hugged us, giving us kisses all over our faces and we couldn't do anything, just let her kiss us and hug her back. She was smaller than us, so between the two of us it was not difficult to surround her to merge into a strong hug. "Are my girls okay? Are they hungry? Have they eaten?" One of the funny things that happened with my mother is that she started speaking really quickly when she got excited, just like she was doing now.

- "Yes, yes, and no." Replied Sofi, to which the three of us laughed. My father was on the threshold of the door, to whom we both ran and hugged each other, almost as strong as we could.

- "You hadn't even given us time to ring the bell!" I said teasingly

- I longed to be there, I longed for the times when my worst problems were not having the genetic notes.

- I looked around until my mother approached me. "Where is she?" She asked me. "She's going to be running late." I replied walking with my father and my sister to the living room. I was wrong, in five minutes the bell rang and I separated from my mother.

- "It must be her." I said running down the hall, reaching the door. I opened it and smiled when I saw Lauren. She wore her hair in a ponytail, a white blouse, and tight jeans.
