We wanted change
They made their slogan "Change"
We knew it was a trick
A play of words but the people took the risk
Now change they gave
In silver colored bullets, they sent us to our graves.We demanded freedom and safety
They turned off the lights and pulled the safeties
We sang for growth, peace and unity
They echoed with violence, hatred and cruelty.
