"it's alright, you did great baby" yangayang patted on the girl's back and gave her a small peck on the temple, causing her face to become redder.
"mark? really?" yiren muttered to herself, she wasn't expecting it to be her best friend of all people, wait, are they still best friends? they've been pretty distant ever since that incident.
jaehyun's head shot up, "mark? isn't that motherfucker the guy you used to ch-" before he could finish, the girl placed a hand on his mouth and tugged on the sleeves of his jacket.
"alright bye guys, thank you chae!!" she said as she dragged the older boy by the arm, still covering his mouth, making him let out muffled noises.
"the fuck jung" the girl whispered-shouted as they arrived outside the building with no other students around.
"jung!" she shouted when the boy wasn't paying attention.
"oh-you talking to me? i thought you were calling yourself, you're soon to be jung yiren after all" he smirked.
yiren glared at him."it's not really a good time to make jokes right now, especially when you just almost exposed me!"
"expose what?- oh, lucas doesn't know? that you cheated on him with-" jaehyun stopped talking.
his eyes landed on the girl before him, she was on the verge of tears, her lips were trembling and hot liquid started to stream down her cheeks.
"yi, w-what's wrong?" he was very startled by the fact that the girl started crying.
yiren didn't answer and kept her head hung low, sniffs coming out every now and then, it seemed like she was trying to control her sobs, it was embarrassing to cry in front of someone.
it was quiet. jaehyun didn't say anything, he was never good at comforting people with words, so he did what he thought would be comforting without words.
yiren finally let her emotions take over and let out the sobs she was trying to hide when she felt strong arms wrapping their way around her shoulder, her head colliding with jaehyun's chest,letting her self melt into the hug.
neither of them said anything. they stayed like that, enjoying each other's company in the comforting silence.
