How long does it normally take you to finish writing a book? --Jaysen27
It should take me a little less than five months to finish the first draft. That is if you were to add up all the days I spend writing it.
Now, add in writing multiple stories and editing other stories, it can take me awhile.
I write everyday, so it's not the fact that I don't have time. I just have to decide what to work on. As I'm trying to get one of my books published, and there are contest coming up that I want to submit to, I've been spending a lot of time editing and rewriting that one story. I've been doing so since I finished it almost two years ago. I think and hope that it's about done. So I'm excited to finally finish it.
I'm not sure if you were asking how long it takes me to finish the first draft, or how long it takes to complete a book including editing it. I hope I answered your question and thanks for asking!
