January 8th - Tuesday - Australia The sky was so blue he couldn't look at it because it made him sad, swelling tears in his eyes; they dripped quietly on the floor as he got on with his day. He tried to keep his focus, ticked off the to-do list, did his chores. Made breakfast, took some photographs and filled in his applications. But the panic kept growing, exploding in his chest. Tears falling on the desk; tick tick tick.
"Tae! I made us lunch." Jungkook said, as he walked into the living room.
Taehyung quickly wiped his tears away, and managed to give the other a broken smile. "Maybe later." He replied.
"Why? Are you not hungry?"
The redhead didn't feel like talking, so he merely shook his head, no.
Jungkook could sense his boyfriend's sadness "Have you been crying?" He asked, after sitting down next to Taehyung.
The elder didn't say anything. He didn't want to bother Jungkook with his sadness.
The ravenhead decided on taking a different approach. "Let's go to the beach." He said.
"Why?" Taehyung asked.
"You've been so stressed since yesterday, I don't like seeing you like this." Jungkook confessed, before taking a bite of his toast.
"So, you want to distract me?"
"No, I want to have a fun day with my boyfriend at the beach." Jungkook corrected.
When Taehyung didn't reply, the younger asked once more; "Please come with me?"
The redhead thought about it for a few more seconds, before sighing; "Okay, fine."
"Thank you, love." Jungkook smiled.

"We have fresh mozz, heirloom tomatoes, basil, and goat cheese on your panini. It was warm at one point this day, but the flavors only get better as you let them moosh."
"Moosh?" Jungkook's stomach rumbled as he unwrapped the sandwich. "Sounds technical." He stopped talking because his first bite demanded a respectful silence. The crunch of crispy exterior gave way to an extroverted, summery flavor: notes of salt and a splash of bright tomato, still-warm mozzarella.
A sigh of contentment left Jungkook lips and he saw Taehyung thoroughly enjoying his enjoyment. "This," he said, mouth still full, "is perfect."
