Sometimes, the Fatui will seek me out for my efficiency, and if there’s bodies to dispose of, they let me take care of it. Given my short height, I’m naturally more agile, and can get into lower clearance places easier. These requests happen much more often than you would think, and since the Fatui are connected to Wangsheng Funeral Palor, it spares me the explanation. The all knowledgeable Zhongli works as the consultant there, so when I haul in a big bag of bodies, it’s only natural that he questions me.
“Why are there so many bodies?!”
“I collectively dropped them all off.”
“You have little to no reason to be dropping these bodies off-!”
“I’m sure your director will be pleased.”
*sigh*
“Gotcha.”
I’m fairly grateful for Childe’s lack of questioning. He merely shrugs it off, and tends to tag along on expeditions.
I rented a small house at Yujing Terrace, the price was insanely high, but I managed to get a small discount. Afterall, I was named after this place. There are cheap food vendors nearby, so I’d call it a win-win situation.
My pay is reasonable, people pay good mora to have someone killed at someone else’s expense.
