Chapter 8: An Encounter With Harry and The Hoe

Alex P.O.V.

"Hey Harry" is all I can say.

I really didn't think he would actually see me, or even recognize me from this bright lighting in this store.

I feel like I'm suffocating, like I can't breathe. My heart is racing so fast in which I feel it may fall out of my chest at any moment. My hands are shaking. I don't think I can do this.

"What are you doing here?" He says.

Oh crap! What do I say? Should I be sarcastic and be the same lex I've always been around Harry? Or should I keep simple and short? I think I'm going to lose it! Oh my God!

"Same as everyone else, looking for new music to listen to. What are you doing here?" I say, trying not to hesitate. Okay that wasn't that bad I suppose.

"Well some mates and I thought it would be cool to check this place out since it just opened up a couple days ago." I think I see him fumble with his hands and hides them behind his back. I soon see a fairly tall blond behind Harry who I hadn't notice. Has she been there the whole time? Oh my god, talk about clingy. Jesus.

"Oh nice, nice. Well I have to get going and yeah bye" I wave and Harry looks confused. I walk away.

Okay Alex don't look back, don't look back. I look back and as soon as I look back this bottle blind bitch wraps her arms around Harry's shoulder.

Damn it Alex! You had to look back.

I automatically don't like her now.

I mean you don't just do that. Like I don't even know you and you're already acting like a little hoe you are.

I walk back to the food court with my hands clenched. As soon as I see Bec and Kat, I give them the signal that we have got to go.

"What the hell Alex? What did you see, that's gotten you all shoo-ken up?" Kat asks me as we walk through the mall.

"Did you see a ghost? A dead body?" Bec says and laughs.

"Worse." I say looking directly forward.

"What can be worse than that?" Kat asks curiously.

"Harry." I say with no expression.

"Oh shit." Bec says. The amusement in her face has died down.

Kat on the other hand seems a little happy? What the hell.

"Alex, that's good. You saw him. You guys can finally be close again." Kat says hopeful.

"Umm no they can't. He fucking left, without saying a single word. He doesn't deserve her." Bec says, backing me up.

"Oh please Bec." Kat ignores her. "Did you at least talk to him? Or about anything that happened between you two?"

"Of course, I get ignored." Bec raises her arms in defeat.

"Well yes but no." I say as we exit the front part of the mall.

"What do you mean by that?" Kat asks.

"Well.. We talked for like less than a minute. He ask me what I was doing at that new music store, and I told him the same thing as everyone else, trying look for new music. I mean we didn't talk about anything that happened. He was with friends. And this one certain blonde chick was with him. She was basically all over him. Like she was fucking praising him and shit. Ugh, she made me so mad. Like I wanted to drag her fake ass on the floor so bad. And may even add, that she was wearing such revealing clothes. Like Harry you can do better than that. Seriously."

"Oh my goodness." Is all Kat says.

"I'm not even going to tell you anything anymore because you already know my thoughts on him." Bec says.

"I'm calling my mom so she can pick us up. And hey don't worry about. Sooner or later things are going to get better."

"I hope so." I mumble.
