Chapter Seven: Tokyo Airport Skirmish

"Let's just say I'm triple-A affiliated." Mater replied. "You know, I know some karate. I don't wanna brag or nuttin', but I got me a black fan belt. Hey you wanna see some moves I made up?"

Finn looked nothing short of amused, but a beeping on his mirror caught his attention. "You're being followed."

"What? Where?" Mary looked back, searching for any cars they might've seen while in the airport.

Mater didn't seem to hear what was going on, now demonstrating how he could reach into a car's hood, pull out his battery, and show it to him before he stalls; AKA, "what he accidentally did to Luigi once". Meanwhile, Finn launched some sort of device from one of his mirrors and stuck it to the nearby window. A sort of antennae shot out, beginning to carve a good-sized perfect circle in the glass.

As this happened, the two cars turned the bend, and saw Mater. "There he is!" The Gremlin said, and started to charge. At that moment, the cutter was finished, then it tapped the glass, and the cut-out glass fell out, leaving a nicely cut hole.

"Oh wow, look we probably ought to go. We about to miss our flight." Mater turned and started to drive off.

"Don't worry. I've taken care of that." Finn assured, throwing one of his back grappling hooks and latching it to Mater's tow hook. "Hang on!" Finn warned, engine revving. Finn suddenly jumped out the window with Mater in tow, Mary chasing on after them. Finn sped off, dragging Mater behind him.

Zane was in the terminal when he could see Mater and Mary racing along with a silvery grey sports car ahead of them, much to his surprise. He began to race through the terminal, trying to see what's going in.

"This is first-class service!" Mater said with a grin

"This is first-class service!" Mater said with a grin. "You don' even have to go through the terminal!" He looked around as Finn pulled him under jets and across the tarmac. Mary could not help but smirk a little. Then, Mater spied two familiar figures right behind them. "Yer karate partners is back here! It kinda look like they tryin' ta catch up!" Mater called.

"Drive forward!" Finn ordered. "Whatever you do, don't stop!" He suddenly braked, forcing him and Mater to do a 180, and cause Mater to drag him.

"Whoa!" Mater laughed, just as he steered under a passing Boeing 777.

The orange Gremlin swerved around the landing gear of the plane, then as it got back to a steady and stable condition, the driver deployed what could be a rocket launcher, now aimed at the spy car.

Finn let loose a small, skateboard-like object that rolled forward to skate just under Grem. A small scissor lift mechanism activated, forcing Grem on two wheels. He struggled to regain his balance, only to tumble over to his roof right after launching the missile. Finn took aim and shot one of his own smaller missiles from his left headlight, the two explosive ordinances colliding and erupting into a wall of fire and smoke.
