"Alright. Because these are the hospital rules, two people at a time. Bakugou, you can go first since Midoriya did ask that." A few students, mainly Uraraka and Iida, turned to look at the hot headed blonde curiously, but Katsuki took it in stride. He smirked out at the two, probably reveling in the fact that Izuku wanted to talk to him first. That grin fell as he realized just what exactly was going on.
The rest of the class immediately began grouping into pairs, seeing as if would be easier. Jirou and Yaoyorozu, Uraraka and Iida, Todoroki and Asui, Kirishima and Kaminari, Shinsou and Tokoyami, Hagakure and Ojirou, Ashido and Sero, to name a few.
Sato was currently bemoaning the fact that he wasn't able to bake Midoriya a get well soon cake.

Izuku's POV
Izuku once again stared out his window, silently looking at the blue bird that hopped around and pecked at the tree bark next to him. The bird either didn't notice or didn't mind Izuku's presence, because it made no move to leave.
Out of a whim, and partial boredom, Izuku awkwardly shifted over as close as he could to the window, falling over onto his elbows multiple times as he lost his balance. When Izuku was as close as possible, he grabbed the bottom of the window and shifted it upwards as quietly as possible, as to not disturb the small animal.
As Izuku finally opened the window wide enough for him to poke his head and arm through, he reached out his hand to the bird.
"Come on," he whispered. The bird had been appearing for days now and he just wanted to pet it.....
The bird looked up to Izuku's hand and turned back away, causing Izuku to give a small frown. He scooted back and leaned as far as he could to the bedside table. His arms got nowhere near it and Izuku was forced to awkwardly scoot/shift/shimmy to the other side of the bed. He grabbed a handful of stale rice and shimmied himself back to the window.
By now beads of sweat were building up on Izuku's face, but he was determined to get just one pet out of that bird. He stuck out his tongue and reached his hand back out the window, opening his palm to the bird.
It looked up and slowly hopped over to the window, cautiously pecking at Izuku's hand. It wasn't uncommon for people in Japan to feed random birds, so perhaps that was why the small animal was so trusting.
Izuku didn't care what the reason was. As the bird hopped into his palm, he slowly and carefully retracted his hands back into the room, making sure the bird could get out if it wanted to.
Izuku poked his head down to stare at the bird who resided in his palms, silently admiring the wide array of feathers. He tried not to breathe too loudly, lest he scare it away. Restricting one's breathing probably wasn't healthy for someone in a hospital, but yet again, Izuku didn't care. There were so few entertaining things in the hospital and both Present Mic and Mr. Aizawa were gone.
Izuku's breath hitched slightly as he remembered exactly why his teachers weren't with him.
Class 2-A. They were visiting today, and now that Izuku thought about it, he was terrified.
The bird shifted in his palm and Izuku tore his mind away from his own thoughts. There was a bird in his hands and he was going to pet it, dammit!
