Iida was undeterred and continued on. "Even so, we all know Midoriya to be anxious. That and the fact that the hospital staff may have wanted Midoriya to heal more until more visitors arrived, not to mention how difficult it must be to get an entire class to visit one person."

He waved his hands slightly, obviously not putting much heart into his scolding. The fact that Midoriya was in a hospital due to severe injuries hit a bit to close to home for all of them. Not a single person in class had a bad relationship with the green headed boy, and the fact that Izuku was one of Iida's best friends hit hard, even for the normally level headed boy.

Katsuki huffed angrily and sat back in his seat rather harshly, crossing his arms and glaring at the teacher. Shouta sighed and knew he'd have to explain more of the 'severe injury' as well. The bus might as well explode itself so Bakugou didn't have to do it.

"And I know you're all probably wondering about the actual injury." Many of the students nodded. "Well, I'm only telling you so you don't freak out yourselves and Midoriya." More vigorous nods. Normally, Shouta would find some slight sadistic joy in their inevitable horrified faces. Not this time.

He sighed once more and rubbed his temples. He really needed coffee. "I'm not going to beat around the bush. His legs were severely injured, as in lacerations, dead tissue and muscles, internal bleeding, and severe blood loss. The legs are now stumps on his thighs."

And the inevitable horrified expressions came. Tears that had been gradually building up finally spilled over Uraraka's cheeks, and many others gasped or slapped their hands to their mouths. Katsuki sat there in shock, his pupils reduced to tiny specks and his mouth agape. Shouta knew he was panicking and walked to the blonde's seat, crouching in front of him.

"Bakugou. Bakugou, look at me." Shouta raised a hand to the boy's shoulder and Katsuki startled at the touch. "He's fine. I told you, he's been recovering easily. He's awake, and in no way still injured." Katsuki dumbly nodded, tears already building up. Shouta nodded and stood up. He knew that giving more attention to Bakugou would only result in the boy being mad.

Katsuki looked to the floor, shadows hooding his eyes. Many of the other students were still processing what he had said. Shouta sighed and looked at them all.

"Calm down. Yes, it's a big deal. But remember why I told you. Midoriya asked for you all to visit." More like Shouta brought it up, but same difference. "I'm sure none of you want him to get freaked out because you got freaked out. Be happy you get this warning instead of walking in there to see an amputee victim with no legs."

Shouta looked out over the sea of children, all looking straight at him. "In the real world, you get no warnings. You get to watch as the injury happens, you get to arrive too late and see the aftermath, you get to call the ambulance and police and pray that they're still alive." Many students stiffened.

Shouta hardened his gaze further. "Hell, in the real world, you might even watch as their legs are cut off by a chainsaw or axe. Be glad you didn't this time." Many students, including Iida, Uraraka and Bakugou, nodded determinedly. Shouta gave a shit eating grin and turned back around. At least his class wasn't full of bitchass-ness.

His kids were fucking gangsters.

Hizashi smiled up at his husband as the hospital came into view only a few moments later. Shouta stood at the automatic door of the bus, looking out over the sea of children.
