UNDESERVING

Chapter 7

TWO WEEKS LATER

Mew was just coming back from a meeting with the elders and was informed by his mother's personal servants that she sent for him to come to her chambers, he then headed towards her chambers, when he entered the room,his mother was already waiting for him then she sent her personal servant to get juice for them.

"My son how have you been? I haven't really spoken to you since the death of your father" Mew's mother asked

"I have been fine mother, work have been keeping me, it's just hard to believe that father is really gone" Mew replied trying to swallow the bile that was coming up his throat because of the pain he was feeling about the death of his father, just then the personal servant of Mew's mother knocked and came inside then served their drink before leaving.

"I know Mew, you were really close to your father but who knew that the wife you married would not only cheat on you but also kill your father, I warned you didn't I?..your late father and I warned you but you were blinded by love, we didn't really know what you saw in him,I guess it was his beauty that charmed you,now it cost you your dear father's life, you didn't know that appearance can be deceitful? It's good that you are no longer blinded by your stupid love for him, so tell me how is he doing in the dungeon?" asked Mew's mother

"I'm giving him the right punishment he deserves, he's lucky he is pregnant because if he wasn't it would have be doubled or even tripled" Mew said in a cold tone which made his mother to smirk because Mew was finally becoming the son she wanted, she has always hated Gulf with a passion, she wanted her son to marry her friend's son Prince Song but then the poor orphan guy suddenly appeared from nowhere.

"Good, he doesn't deserve you at all..so are you going to keep him alive or will he die from the punishment?" Mew's mother asked hoping the answer would be the latter

"No Mother, he won't die from the punishment..it will be too simple, I want him to be alive but wish he was dead, I just don't know how to make that happen" Mew said frustratedly which made his mother smirk wickedly because she already have an answer to that

"Well,I think I have an idea on how to make that happen" Mew's mother said

"Really?..say it, I want to hear it Mother" said Mew

"I think we should use him as a servant,not just a servant but your personal servant, imagine being turned from a Queen to a servant, the humiliation will be much for him" Mew's mother said and laughed

"That's a good idea mother but I don't really see him suffering much from it because he will always be close to me since he would be my personal servant and he will be close to Gabby" said Mew with furrowed brows

"Well well my son, your mother isn't done yet, since Gulf isn't your wife again, you definitely need a wife and the Kingdom needs a Queen, so I suggest you marry Prince Song, he's very beautiful and have everything you would want in a wife, he would also make a good Queen for your Kingdom and give you beautiful children, surely he will love Gabby, the few times he has been here he do play with Gabby and also you know that you both were meant to marry.

I heard from his mother that he was keeping himself for you, he isn't touched yet and even now though he has suitors and goes out with some, he isn't intimate with them, he would be glad if you want him.

  Since Gulf will be your personal servant, he will always be with you and would see you interact with Prince Song, that will surely hurt him, he would be hurt and jealous because Prince Song will occupy his position, he will be there on your engagement and wedding, don't you like the idea?

He already misused his position when you loved him, he slept with guys behind your back and is pregnant now so he deserves all this, he deserves to suffer" Mew's mother finalized

Mew was quiet after his mother finished explaining, he knows that getting into marriage was a serious commitment, he knows that he doesn't love Prince Song romantically but maybe he could try after all he's beautiful and now that he's no longer blinded by love towards Gulf surely they will make a good couple and Gabby will be treated good by him but most importantly Gulf would be there through out, he will be there before and after his marriage to Prince Song, Gulf will also be there when he have his own kids with Prince Song and he will feel the pain that he felt when he found out that the pregnancy didn't belong to him but another man.

"That's a very good idea mother, tomorrow he would start working as my personal servant and please mother invite Prince Song and his family over tomorrow" Mew said and stood to leave

"Sure I will my son, I'm happy that you're making the right decision now" Mew's mom said and also stood up then hugged her son, after that Mew then left to his room to freshen up before going to meet his son.

Few minutes later, Mew was done and headed to Gabby's room, there he saw Gabby lying on his bed in a fetal position and crying, Gabby stopped coming close to him since he noticed his mother's disappearance and he was really worried by this, he hopes the Prince Song would be able to make Gabby forget his mother.

He then approached his son and sat on his bed then carried him on his laps

"Why is my little prince crying?" Mew asked like he was clueless

"I want mommy, where is mommy?" Gabby asked in return with tears eyes

"Gabby I told you already your mother is a bad person, he killed your grandpa and another bad thing so we kept him somewhere to learn his lessons okay" Mew replied

"Mommy is not bad, I want my mommy" Gabby said and started crying, it's been two weeks since he last saw his mother, he was terribly sad and annoyed at his Dad for calling his Mom a bad person

"It's time to eat Gabby, let's go..I will feed you okay"Mew said trying to convince his son, he hasn't been eating well since the disappearance of his mother

"I want mommy to feed, Daddy don't you want Mommy again? You hate Mommy now?" Gabby asked his father as he was looking at him with his puffy red eyes but Mew avoided the question, he couldn't say to Gabby that he hated his mother now

"Gabby Prince Song will be your new mommy okay, you will see him tomorrow okay baby" Mew said smiling at his son but Gabby became annoyed and got off his father's lap

"Go away, I don't want anybody..I just want my mommy, take me to my mommy now" Gabby said as he was crying, Mew tried to console his son but couldn't

"Ok baby,if you eat big food today and go to sleep I will take you to your mother tomorrow" Mew said but of course he was lying, he wasn't going to take Gabby to see Gulf, not in the condition that Gulf was in now, he was sure that it would break his child's heart and he wanted him to eat enough food because he was getting leaner

"Really Daddy?" Gabby asked excitedly and happily

"Yes my boy, now come let's go eat then sleep and wait for tomorrow okay?" Mew said

"Ok Daddy, I love you" Gabby said and kissed Mew's cheek

"I love you too my boy" Mew said then kissed his baby's cheeks, they then left to eat, Gabby couldn't wait for the next day, he was going to see his mother...or so he thought.
