Reluctantly leaving the house. Sarah arrived at Monica's apartment and knocked on her door. Monica who was busy going through her students' works heard a knock on the door and went to open it.
She was surprised seeing Sarah standing at the other side of the door. Sarah was dressed in a simple brown coloured short gown
"Come in"Monica said gesturing her to enter the house. "what do you wanna take?"
"Anything available"Sarah replied sitting on the sofa, Monica went over to the kitchen and fetch some potato porridge she did for her. Sarah gracefully took the food and Monica sat down
"It's weird seeing you here"Monica voiced out her thought and Sarah chuckled
"Yeah I know. I came to apologize"Sarah says and Monica quirk her right brow
"Apologise? For what?"Monica asked
"The way I talked to you the last time about marriage. I know it's not your fault everything didn't work out well and I'm sorry for rubbing it on your face"Sarah said and Monica's heart swelled. Sarah is never the type to apologize and Monica knew it took a great deal from her to apologize. Monica didn't know what to do but draw her into a bone crushing hug
"It's fine Sarah. You are right though I'm old enough to bear kids,I understand your point"Monica said and Sarah smiled taking a spoonful from her food
"Thank you sister"Sarah said and Monica nodded
"How's Lola?"Monica asked
"She's fine"Sarah replied smiling and Monica watched her warily
"Come here! I don't understand you,why are you smiling and laughing all the time,who is he?"Monica asked and Sarah bursted into laughter
"How do you know there's he?"Sarah asked
"It's obvious. You now have this smiley face I don't understand"Monica said
"Okay..."Sarah said chuckling "there's this guy I like. We are friends now though"
"Wow! That's nice"Monica said smiling. She's grateful for whoever is making Sarah smile at least it change her hostility towards her
"He's so cool sis! He's very handsome,tall he's caramel skinned few shade darker than us though,he's perfect. My dream man"Sarah said dreamingly and Monica smiled her mind wandering to Daniel. She frown immediately she realised what she had done
"What's his name?"Monica asked.
"I will tell you that when he ask me out. I don't know what to do sis,I want to win him over"Sarah said with so much desperation
"Calm down kid sis,just be yourself if he's meant to be yours he will be. Don't do something you will regret"Monica said. Sarah open her mouth to say something but was cut short by the ringing tone of Monica's phone "mom"Monica muttered before picking the call
"Hello mom"Monica said putting the phone in the speaker
"Hello my dear. How are you and your sisters?"her mom asked
"We are fine. Sarah is here with me"Monica replied
"Mummy!"Sarah says and their mom chuckled
"Did Christian called any of you?"Their mom asked
"No"they replied simultaneously
"I know he will leave me to tell everyone"their mom murmured but they heard her "Christian is bringing a girl home next week"Their mom added and Sarah squeal. Monica covered her mouth
