His work.

And she was also honest about herself and her relationship. She didn't bother making up stories just to please him or try to be who she was not just to gain his attention and be on his good side. And that was why he had opened up to her by telling him a little about himself.

He had indirectly let her know his other side and who he was that most people do not know about. And that was the reason why he had taken her to the orphanage home.

There was also his mother. His mother loves her like she was her daughter. Although, she was his fake girlfriend but Lola still respects, loves and cares about his mother sincerely. He had watched her and he knows that.

Her honesty makes him so insane. She was too plain honest and sincere.

And maybe that was one of the things that attracted him to her.

He felt jealous because of a woman for the first time in a very long time when he saw her talking and laughing with those men at the club. He felt his blood boiling with rage.

He knew it was just a deal, a lie, a pretense... But deep down in him, he felt more than that. He felt territorial around her. He loves to show her other guys that she was his. He loves being around her. He loves her being with him.

Although, that was one of the reasons why he made the deal, to have a girlfriend to take around, to fool others, to keep his friends and family off his back. But as time goes on, he began to feel so proud of having her around. More than he should feel.

He saw the way she jumped on her male friend that came to visit her the day he was leaving for Tokyo. She didn't even embrace the other lady with him. But she embraced the young man like she was everything to him. She was sincerely excited to see him. And he couldn't stop playing the image of her embracing him in his head. And also the way he hold her, how happy she was just by his presence and how comfortable she was around him. He wished he could mean more than that to her. He wished to see her smile at him like that, to see her comfortable around him and with no boundaries between them.

Although, he was happy he prolonged the deal but he wished he had not talked that way to her the day she brought him lunch. He should have at least appreciated her effort. And he suddenly felt guilty.

                 He exhaled loudly.

No woman had ever made him lunch. Aside from his mother who makes him lunch to take to the office whenever she was around, no other woman who had been in his life had done that.

Lola had sincerely used her time to make him his favourite dish and bring it to his office. But the stupid pride and the foolish voices in his head had made him say something he shouldn't have.

As much as he was thinking it was for the better, he still couldn't forgive himself for saying those words. He should have at least appreciated her effort. He had done the same thing the first time she cooked him breakfast when the deal started.

Despite they had a little argument the day before, she still woke up and made the man she knew nothing about lunch. And he had rudely turned her down.

He closed his eyes as he remembered those memories. He wished he could turn back time and do the right thing. But it was not possible.
