Keep On Keeping On

Cold

The freezing is all I feel,

That's all anyone can feel out here,

Trudging through the snow and ice,

The numb feeling comes blocking out the pain,

The numb feeling is so nice,

I slide and fall on the ice,

Red starts coming out of my arm,

I'm no numb I hardly notice the harm,

The farther I walk the slower I go,

I think of turning back but my mind screams no,

I fall to my knees into a snow bank,

Deeper and deeper into the snow I sank,

I can't feel anything, I can't feel the pain,

I lay there and all my heat is drained,

I smile as I freeze,

Death is coming oh yes please,

I close my eyes,

I will not return to the living hell,
