"That's very insightful of you Pansy Parkinson...perhaps the man was indeed lonely inside but the truth is no one knows, uncertainty is also a part of the human nature-the laws of nature. One can never know the future as it would ruin the laws of everything, the balance of nature" Albus said thoughtfully
Then explain why Pansy knows what's bound to happen in the future?
Harry, who they seemed to forget had spoken up tearing away his gaze from the mirror
"How about you sir? What do you see? When you look in the mirror I mean" Harry asked
"Hmm? I see myself holding pairs of warm, fuzzy socks! One can never have enough socks" Harry looked dumbfounded while Pansy laughed
"What?" Harry asked flabbergasted
"Socks Harry, professor might've grew tired of receiving useful things for Yule" Pansy chuckled
"Indeed I have Ms. Parkinson. They are too quick to assume that I would always enjoy reading books but sometimes words can be a bore" Albus chuckled to himself
"Well...expect yourself a new pair in Yule next year sir" Pansy grinned
"I will count on your word Parkinson" Albus smiled
"You two ought to return to your dorms, while Hogwarts may be the safest place on Earth. I cant have students roaming around after curfew" He added
"Of course sir, Goodnight" Pansy said and dragged Harry
"Goodnight professor" Harry echoed and picked up his invisibility cloak
"Goodnight, Harry, Parkinson" Albus called
WHILE Harry and Pansy was walking to a very quiet hallway to the grand staircase.
"About the stone...can you tell me more about it? You've forgotten to do that awhile ago" Harry asked
"I did dint I? But explaining such stone could take a long time...I rather wait tomorrow or at least until Granger comes back so I don't have to repeat myself-after all they would be coming back the day after tomorrow" Pansy stretched her arms and yawned
"That would be a great idea" Harry offered a polite smile "but wouldn't it bother Malfoy? I mean he spent most of the days along with Crabbe and Goyle bullying muggleborns and people he deemed unworthy of his oh-so holy presence" Harry said the last part sarcastically
"Draco couldn't stop me even if he tried and besides he's much of a coward to pick on you with me around" Pansy laughed quietly
"He does seemed in control with you around-you know much less of a prick" Harry scrunched his nose
"You don't say" Pansy mused
Silence followed
Harry kept looking at Pansy and was about to open his mouth but decided not to ask anyway-Pansy who saw this rose an eyebrow and asked Harry
"You were about to say something" Pansy asked curiously
Harry took a deep breath, "about the mirror. I'm curious, you've knew mine and professor Dumbledore's but I don't know yours...its okay if you don't want to tell" Harry said thoughtfully
