"Heyy Y/N! I GOT A NEW IDEA FOR TIKTOK!" Your best friend, Joe said slamming the door on his entry.

"Woah, Joe. Calm down. What is it?" You asked closing the laptop and focussing your attention on him.

"So it's a best friend thing. Maybe we can do it together." He said excitedly.

"Okay then. Tell me what it is." 

"No this I want to see your reaction. That's the whole thing." He said and you nodded.

"Okayy. Let's do this." You said sitting on the couch while he tried to see from which angle he should shoot from.

"Okay this is perfect." 

You fixed your hair up and took a deep breathe.

"Two best friends in a room." He started and you smiled.

"They might kiss." He said which made you look at him in confusion.

"No they won't." You said giggling.

"Yes they will." 

And he puckered his lips and faced you and you pushed him playfully.

"Get lost." You said laughing.

"The whole thing is you won't kiss! You just go too close and then you go turn to the camera." He said and you shook your head.

"I'm done." You said shaking your head smiling.

"You're no fun, Y/N!" He shouted.

"Come up with better videos, you little shit!" You screamed back laughing.

What just happened? You thought. 

"Hey Y/N. Can I talk to you?" Zoe said snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Yeah sure. What's up?" You asked.

"What's going on between you and Joe?" She asked which surprised you.

"What do you mean what's going on? Him and I are best friends since years. Duhh!" You said playing it off.

"Y/N, stop kidding. I can feel the tension between you two." 

"You're kidding yourself, Zoe. There's nothing going on between us." You said rolling your eyes.

"You're kidding yourself, Y/N. I know you like him." She said and your heart just stopped for a second.

"N-no I don't." You denied yet again.

"And I know for a fact he likes you back. Then what's stopping you two?" She asked and you sighed.

"It's not that, Zoe. He's a year younger than me and I don't date younger guys." You said trying to focus on your video editing.

"He's just a year younger. Actually just a few months. And you two get along well together. Why are you even letting that get to you?" She asked.

"I don't know Zoe. I just don't think it'll work out." You said sighing.

"Y/N! I promise you'll like this tiktok." Joe said barging in your room interuppting your talk with Zoe.

Zoe didn't say a word and just left the room. You tried to forget about this whole entire conversation just happened and put your focus on your best friend.

Best friend. That's all it'll ever be. You thought.

*In the evening*

"She's engagedd!!" You screamed as soon as you saw the message.
