Cobb Vanth throws the offering into the flames. One of the Tuskens rises from his seat, so does Cobb Vanth. "These monsters can't be reasoned with. Sit back down before I put a hole through ya! I'm not going to say it- "

Vanth is cut off by a streak of flames shot out from the sitting Din. He speaks to the sand people, "What are you telling them?"

"Same thing I'm telling you. If we fight amongst ourselves, the monster will kill us all." The raider and Vanth take their spots again after blowing off steam. "Now, how do we kill it?"

Lana returns her hands back onto the spot between Din's neck and his shoulder blades. He sinks into her touch after separating the sparring two.

The group and a few Tuskens watch over one of the edges as another Tusken walks toward the abandoned sarclacc pit with a bantha in tow. "They say it lives in there. They say it sleeps." Lana looks to the giant cave, all though its so large and so much light is piercing into it, it seems to swallow it all up.

Din takes a look through the binocs, "It lives in an abandoned sarlacc pit."

"Lived on Tatooine my whole life. There's no such thing as an abandoned sarlacc pit." Vanth speaks up.

"There is if you eat the sarlacc."

Lana's brows raise, she felt fear swell in her stomach. "They're laying out a bantha to protect the settlement. They've studied its digestion cycle for generations. They feed the dragon to make it sleep longer. Watch, the dragon will appear."

Lana puts her hand in front of the child, he holds onto her finger as the Tusken yells into the pit. Lana peers to Din, he moves his hand from the surface in front of him to place over her hand without letting the others see. Lana smiles, his little gestures went such a long way.

The child whimpers as they watch for it to appear. The growl is hear all through the valley, and the raider is seen sprinting away from the bantha. Lana watches as the dragon completely disregards the bantha and takes the raider with it.

A day later, the four set out back to Mos Pelgo to bring in the reinforcements. Inside the cantina the people of the village sat waiting on the Marshals announcement. "This here, is a Mandalorian." He says first. The people look not amused and ready to get out of this meeting. Din gives a slight cough before he goes on.

Vanth looks back to the two behind him, "And his partner." Lana rolls her eyes at Din. "You know what that means?"

The same man that they met at the bar two days prior speaks up. "We've heard the stories of the Mandalorians."

"Then you know how good they are at killing. I wouldn't put it past her either. Now, these two have a problem. I got a suit o' salvaged armor and the Mandalorian creed says its his to take."

The people groan in the crowd, "But, I've got a problem, too. A krayt dragon has been peeling off our pack animals, and sometimes taking our mining haul with it. It's just a matter of time before it grows tired of banthas and goes after you townsfolk, or even, so help us, the school."

Again, a groan falls over the room. "As much as I've grown fond of the armor, I'm even more fond of this town. The Mandalorian and his partner are willing to help us slay the levithan in exchange for returning the armor to its ancestral owners."

The same man from the bar speaks up again, "Well that settles it."

Vanth begins to speak once more, "There's more. We can't take on the krayt alone. And the Sand People are willing to help."
