Chapter 13: Barbecue

"Don't get bent out of shape, lets just hear him out ok"

"What drives you guys to work so hard?"

"Volleyball is only extra extracurricular activity, is it any benefit other than to be able to put it  collage application or something like that"

I gave Kohana to Akaashi, and put my serious face on. Everyone went silent, "Volleyball isn't an extracurricular activity, Just hear makes me wanna hit your head with a ball," I said trying to stay calm.

"Chill Chibi-Chan" Kuroo patting my head to cool down

"She right tho, I suddenly have the urge to punch you," Bokuto said

They started arguing about grades which was hilarious to watch, He even said he got a 75 percent on one of Bokuto's tests. I usually get 90 or 100 percent on my tests.

"Hey tall dude with the glasses," Bokuto said not knowing his name

"It Tsukishima" Tried correcting him

"Fine then, Tsukibladada. Is this game fun for you?"

"mmm- No? Not really"

"You think maybe is because you suck at it"

"I'm a 3rd year and I went to Nationals, so I'm way better than you. I'm like 2 of you!" Bokuto said while making pointing out 2 fingers

"I already know that" 

Bokuto started to talk about how much he didn't care about volleyball until blockers caught up to him. Technically he was telling his story about how much he loves volleyball. "Why don't you ask Y/n, she is kinda a volleyball pro," Bokuto said looking at me. All eyes were on me.

"I never really dislike volleyball, Since I was 2 months old I always love Volleyball. Volleyball was actually my first word, The only reason I like volleyball was that... The first time I saw it on TV, I could see how clearly how each position was important and how people who were there to watch it was full of joy. Volleyball brought people together and joy, I was separated from my twin for 15 years and volleyball brought him back to me. Volleyball isn't just to win, it to have a team and have fun." 

"Now that was something" Kuroo ruffle my hair

"People have different moments, but if that moment ever happens to you. That's when you realize you have fallen in love with volleyball." I said pointing at him

"Ok, I answer your question so you're going repay us by giving us some blocks," Bokuto said

"Thanks, Akaashi for taking care of her," I said grabbing Kohana back

"One day you're going to be a good dad" those word echo in Akaashi's mind

The Next day

"We don't have to stop him," Tsukishima said

"That's right" Coach Ukai

"If we slow him down we could win," I said putting my finger on my chin remember that I analyze Bokuto and what was his weakness

We back in the game, Bokuto was about to spike the ball. I remember what Kuroo told me about advice about blocking.

"First, become conscience, insert power all the way up to your fingertips so they would never get blown back. Don't also put your hand straight up either, stretch them out. So you can teach this Owl with frosted tips a lesson!" Kuroo said
