yoongi should be annoyed by the little boy who knocks on his door every other day because he's kicked his ball over the fence - again. well, he would, if he didn't bring his attractive and endearing father, park jimin, with him.

Yoongi sets the last box down on the table, trying not to inhale the cloud of dust that erupts from underneath it upon impact. He coughs and steps back, taking his first real look at his place
since he bought it.
It was smaller than he remembered, but it could just be the stacks of boxes taking up the free space between the leather sofas and stained coffee table - which he couldn't complain about because
they gave it to him for half price. Then again he couldn't really complain about much; this house was a godsend for him, he had never expected to find something like this so cheap, and the neighbourhood wasn't even that bad.
He had only moved out in the first place because his best friend Hoseok had arisen to the task of reminding him daily how much of his life he was wasting by living in a shared apartment in Daegu with 3 other people. So, when he had finally snapped, Hoseok had conveniently found a job for him in Seoul as an accountant, where he could "enjoy life in the big city" before promptly showing him houses he could buy in the more suburban areas, more within his price range.
Yoongi took it upon himself to take a house tour, a reasonable distraction from having to start unpacking countless boxes, and wandered around in an attempt to become more familiar with his surroundings. He opened one door to find a bathroom, about the same size as his one back home, but all that much bigger now that he knew it was his own. The walls were lined with an ugly-coloured tiling and the shower curtain looked like it was housing decades of mould but he couldn't bring himself to be annoyed by it. He just sighed and shut the door, as if not being able to see it meant he wouldn't have to deal with it. There was only one bedroom - he could only afford one and he wasn't planning on having guests anyway - and it looked comfortable enough. He knew he didn't have to worry because any problems with his sleeping arrangements would be top priority, as he valued sleep very high on his list of things he cared about so if the mattress was even slightly uncomfortable he'd get a new one. He could deal with an ugly bathroom but a not bad night's sleep.
Even though he hadn't looked at it beforehand, since he wasn't really an outdoor-loving type, he decided to see what the garden looked like. He pushed open the door and was surprised to find that it was nothing like the rest of the house. He'd expected it to be run down and abandoned just like the bathroom had been, but whoever had lived here before him clearly took pride in looking after this. The grass had been mown not long ago, as if it was the last thing the previous residents had done before they left.
There were various flower beds lining the outskirts of the grass, sporting the dying buds of now-neglected flowers which have somehow still kept their vibrant colours despite their lack of care. He can't help but make his way over to the beds and hold one of them between his fingers, spinning it as he marvelled at their soft touch. He watches as the drooping petals pass his fingers, imagining how much more beautiful they were when they were alive, how harsh nature has been to destroy such a thing.
