We've had some queries from our winners about changes to winners for the Sanditon category. For transparency's sake, here's what we said:
As we only had very few entries for the awards overall, and as most of those were for Sanditon (which we were expecting to be the smallest category), we felt we could not justify the reduced number of category winners for Sanditon opposed to the other categories.
So we decided to give the Sanditon category the same amount of winner spots as the other categories.
Essentially this means that the maximum possible winners have received badges.
If we had not made this change, only the highest scorer for Sanditon would have been a winner. Congratulations again to @misspiony for The Only Reason to Marry is Love
On a side note, we respectfully ask not to be brought into fanfiction community politics. We only want to celebrate great writing and the literature we love.
