I woke up feeling like shit, my throat screaming for water and I couldn't even breathe through my nostrils anymore,

it was the most irritating feeling I had in a long time and I didn't enjoy it one bit,

I got up from our bed and went downstairs to get a cup of hot water,

I swallowed the water feeling my throat burn as I cringed at the feeling, I placed my cup down and went to get some medicine for my throat,

I took the medicine and went upstairs back to my bed,

I laid on the bed for a few minutes before going to the bathroom and freshening up,

I went downstairs to prepare breakfast for me and Clay,

I then heard a pair of footsteps coming down the stairs,

"Good morning babe" Clay spoke in a deep husky voice as I felt two warm arms wrapped around my waist,

"Good morning Clay block" I spoke pouring the eggs on the pan,

he kissed my cheeks but stopped and placed one of his hands on my forehead,

"Are you sick?" he spoke with a frown,

"It's just a little cold nothing big" I said flipping the eggs,

He suddenly picked me up and placed me on the countertop,

"Babe it's not that ba-"

"Shhh I will cook breakfast, you take a break and relax" he said turning around to make sure the egg doesn't burn,

I sighed but smiled at his sweetness and went to the table and sat down waiting for him,

I went out of the warm bathtub that Clay prepared for me feeling a lot better,

I took one of Clay's hoodie he gave me and wore it following with a pair of sweatpants,

I then heard a knock,

"Can I come in"

I opened the door letting Clay in,

"Hm I wanted to ask if I can dry your hair" he spoke quietly,

I chuckled and nodded my head,

he took the dryer and started drying my hair being careful as possible not to accidentally burn me,

I turned around facing him and wrapped my arms around him as I buried my face into his chest,

after he finished drying my hair, he slowly combed my hair so it won't tangle,

"I am done princess" he said smiling down at me,

I looked up at him and tiptoed kissing his lips sweetly,

"Thank you babe" I said hugging him,

"No problem, Let's go eat dinner now, I made you chicken soup"

"Yayyy"
