Chapter 57

Hoseok carefully pulled on the tie, securing it around Yoongi's neck. "You look handsome," the alpha praised as he ruffled the smaller man's hair who had a beaming smile.

"You're ruining my masterpiece!" Jimin cried as he hurried over with a hairbrush, carefully fixing the messy locks.

Jungkook scoffed as he walked over, effectively snatching the brush from the shorter alpha and holding it up. "He's always a masterpiece, messy hair or not," he hummed as he also ruffled said hair.

Jimin screeches, jumping to grab the brush as Yoongi giggled adorably.

"Are you ready pup? We need to be at the Council House soon," Namjoon hummed as he walked over to the bickering group, picking up his mate and swinging him around in a circle playfully.

Yoongi's grin turned to a sulk as he was placed on the ground, "I was but now my hair's all messy," he pouted while looking up to the head alpha hopefully.

Namjoon chuckled, "Jungkook was right, love, you look perfect."

The youngest cackled as the shortest screeched.

The car ride to the Council House was much shorter than Yoongi last remembered, which he assumed was due to the lack of stress. He was truly the opposite of stressed, surrounded by his mates on the way to welcome his friends into his pack.

Plus... any negative thoughts were taken away by his mate's singing ringing throughout the car. Though he didn't have much confidence in his voice, he sang along.

As they pulled into the parking spot, the valets opened the doors. Yoongi grinned his gummy smile as Wonpil offered his hand.

"Lovely to see you again, Sir Yoongi." The beta smiled.

The shorter man smiled widely at him as he was helped out of the car.

Wonpil released his hand as he bowed to the approaching alphas. "Welcome back Senator Kim, and welcome Senator Kim and Sir Yoongi's packmates."

Namjoon grinned warmly, offering his hand. "Kim Namjoon, pack head alpha. Pleasure to meet you."

The beta's face was etched with confusion as he slowly took the head alpha's hand into his. He let go and bowed once again, "a pleasure, sir."

Another one of the valets, another beta named Jae that Yoongi had met on his last trip to the Council, hurried over to the omega's side. "Today's the big day! You excited?"

Yoongi happily nodded as he took one of his alpha's hand, Taehyung, into his as he grinned at the betas.

He noticed the alpha seemed rather stiff, but just assumed it was their typical slight over-protectiveness.

"We are excited to welcome Yoongi's friends into our pack. Any friend of his is welcome, and we'd like to right previous wrongs," Taehyung enlightened formally.

He heard the other alpha's snicker, namely Hoseok, Jimin and Jungkook, as the betas bowed respectfully.

Taehyung led Yoongi and the rest of his pack towards the Council House, where a few of Seokjin's friends were awaiting.

"Yoongi!" Felix said with a bright grin, "lovely to see you again. I'd like to introduce you to my beloved omega and mate, Changbin."

Changbin wayved shyly over to the taller omega as he grinned slightly.

Yoongi brightened at the sight of another omega at the Alpha Council House- a sign that the law that he helped put into place was actually happening!

Felix and another member of his pack, Senator Hyunjin, were there to act as the two witnesses through the pack mergence. It was a lengthy legal process, so Seokjin ensured to get close senator friends to ensure it was as quick and proper as possible.

"Over 300 pack members, hm?" Hyunjin commented, walking around lazily.

The head senator chuckled and nodded, "though, we don't know how many will accept. Not that any of them has to."

Yoongi grinned up to Seokjin as he took his hand, "I know some who will... I hope they will..."

AN: I'm so sorry for the late update, small chapter, and repost. I'm fairly sick and had to take a trip to the hospital:(
