Kihyun || Forever with you

•< Chapter 13 >•

"Can you...?" she started talking but the remaining words never came out.

"Never mind, I am sorry for troubeling you." she said.

"Just tell me." I said.

"Well....I was wondering if you could..uhm...if you could maybe..." she was struggeling with her words to find the right ones.

"You know...I was about to just ask you if you could stay a bit here with me till I fall asleep since I am still feeling scared because of the things that have happened today." she said making me turn my head to her.

"Don't worry I will do that and go to my tent once you're asleep." I told her.

"But I don't want you to stay awake for long that is why I hesitated to ask." she said.

"It's okay for me. I fall asleep really quickly so I will go to sleep right away once you are asleep." I lied.

In fact I didn't even remember when was the last night that I slept well. For me every single night has become like a torture.

Most of the nights I wasn't able to sleep and I would stay awake until my eyes burned and hurted till I finally would pass out from being too tired and finally would fall asleep.

But my sleep wouldn't last for a long time because I already knew I would wake up sooner or later in a few hours.

My insomnia started to grow with every night and I didn't know anymore how I was supposed to escape from it.

"Okay, thank you Kihyun. I will try to sleep now." I heard her say as she closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep.

I watched her trying to fall asleep and noticed that I was starting to get tired as well.

I laid down besides her and turned my head to her while looking at her being asleep peacefully.

It made me happy to see her falling asleep well without having any nightmares or panic attacks because of what has happened today.

"Sleep well." I quietly whispered as I reached out my hand for her hair and carresed it gently.

I kept on caressing her hair when my eyes began to become heavy making me fall asleep as well.

•HYERIN'S POV•

Opening my eyes I realized that it was already bright outside as the the sun was shining down onto me making me feel warm.

The warmth was all over my body and I was being happy before I realized that there was someone laying beside me which made me feel scared at the very first seconds.

As I looked down onto my body I could see a pair of arms holding me close in a strong embrace.

Turning my head to the side I saw Kihyun laying beside me while being peacefully asleep.

In fact I was relieved to see Kihyun being the one who was beside me.

"He didn't go back yesterday?" I thought to myself as I was looking at him.

I didn't know why I felt that way but at this moment I didn't want to let him go and I didn't want him to wake up yet so that this moment could go on a little longer.

"Seems like you didn't lie when you said you were falling asleep really quickly." I whispered as I reached out my hand to his face.

Slowly I brushed over his cheek and laid down my palm onto it.

"He's so warm even though he might seem cold from the outside I have the feeling he is a good person with a warm heart." I thought as a smile appeared on my face.

"How long are you actually going to stare at me like that?" his sudden deep voice made me jump really hard and remove my hand immediately.

"You almost gave me a heart attack!" I screamed quietly so that no one would hear us as I was holding onto my chest.

"I am sorry." he said while his eyes still were being closed when he slowly started to open them.

I turned around to face him again as our eyes met at this moment. It seemed like the time has stopped.

His gaze never left my eyes as well as my gaze never left his.

I didn't even realize as my face was already moving closer to his and we were being just some inches away from eachother.

"Should I give you my apology?" Kihyun asked as he whispered quietly in a deep voice as he moved even closer to me.

I was already closing my eyes waiting for our lips to touch when a sudden voice made us both stop.

"Hyerin-ah!" I heard one of my classmates calling for me coming closer to my tent.

We both moved away from eachother within seconds, sitting up.

A worried and scared look appeared on my face as I looked at Kihyun.

"What were we supposed to do now?!" I asked myself as my heartbeat began to increase.
