•HYERIN'S POV•

"Since the holidays are near the teachers have talked to eachother and decided that we will be going to a trip all together as a class." I heard the teacher say.

"We will go to a forest near a lake and sleep in tents." he added.

Everyone seemed really happy and excited about the sudden news of a class trip.

Everyone. Except me.

I didn't really had friends in my class since they all were diffrent. They all could have conversations about topics like being in diffrent relationships, going to parties and drinking alcohol.

I couldn't be part of those conversations since I didn't drink, didn't go to parties since I hated those places so much and the most important:

I have never been in a relationship before. I even didn't have my first kiss yet.

The people in my class didn't like me that much as well since they thought I was way too diffrent from all of them.

That's why the idea of going on a trip with my class wasn't making me happy nor excited at all.

I didn't want to go there. I didn't like those kind of stuff.

I loved being alone most of the time. Either I was thinking, sleeping or listening to music.

The only friend I knew since a long time was Minho but he was one grade higher than me meaning that he wasn't coming with us on the trip.

"You don't seem excited at all." I heard Kihyun saying sitting on the empty chair beside me.

"You're right.." I said being a little surprised by his sudden action.

"I also don't like this kind of trips." he said while looking at me.

"But don't worry. I will be there with you so it will be better this time." he said turning his head to the front leaving me speechless.

"We will go there by bus. We'll leave tomorrow at 8am so make sure to be there everyone." the teacher said.

The rest of the day passed quickly and it was time to go home. I stood up from the table, walked out of the classroom and was about to leave when Kihyun suddenly called my name.

"Hyerin, wait!" he said while coming out if the classroom.

"Let's walk home together?" he asked.

"Sure." I answered and deep inside I felt happy that Kihyun was the one accompying me home.

When we arrived home we walked the stairs together. I walked a bit ahead of Kihyun and without realizing it I tripped.

I was thinking about the worst scenario already. I thought I would fall down and break a leg or even worse.

I closed my eyes in fear being ready to fall down on the cold hard floor when suddenly all I felt was the exactly opposite.

I felt a pair of warm hands wrapping around my waist, holding me close.

Opening my eyes I met the eyes of Kihyun. His face being inches away from mine.

His gaze was soft yet he seemed worried.

It seemed as if the time suddenly has stopped at this moment and it were only the two of us who were there.

"Thank you Kihyun." said while looking at him, not leaving his eyes.

"You know I'll always save you. Whenever happens I'll be there for you and protect you." he said.
