HIS POV

"Hey there, Mr. President!" sabay-sabay na bati nina Bluu pagkapasok pa lang nilang apat sa Student Council office.

I just ignored them and continued reviewing the request papers for the charity we're planning.

They sat on the couch and started doing their tasks. We still had half an hour before our first subject, so we decided to finish everything early. Besides, our field trip is scheduled next week.

The money we'll collect from the event will go to the charity.

"So, how's the charity?" tanong bigla ni Uno, the vice president.

"It was already approved by Mr. Chairman. By next week, we can start collecting funds," I said without looking up.

"Hmm, that's good to hear," he responded and continued what he was doing.

We were in the middle of working when my phone rang. I immediately answered when I saw the caller.

"Yes, Dad- I mean, Mr. Chairman?" I cleared my throat.

My friends paused what they were doing and looked at me. Alam nilang madalang tumawag si Dad, at kapag tumawag man, siguradong may ipag-uutos.

"You probably know why I called you, right?" he said in that matter-of-fact tone.

So may ipapagawa nga.

"What do you want me to do, Dad- Mr. Chairman?"

"Have you already read my email?"

Email? As far as I remember, wala naman akong natatanggap.

"I think you haven't read it, have you?"

I checked my laptop. And he's right. Natabunan ng ibang emails 'yung kanya.

I sighed and checked the date.

Last week pa niya to pinadala.
How the hell did I miss this? Fuck.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Chairman. I was just busy working on the charity and natabunan po yung email niyo. Again, I'm sorry," I said.

Nilingon ko ang mga kasama ko and they gave me a thumbs up-as if saying it's fine.

"I see. Since you didn't read it, I'll just say it now. You know who Mr. Frumosa is, right?"

Frumosa? Of course I know that surname. They have the biggest shares in my dad's company and they're one of the major stockholders in my school.

"Yes, Mr. Chairman," I answered.

"Good. Mr. Frumosa's only daughter arrived in the Philippines yesterday. He wants her to study in your school. Alam mo namang malaki ang shares nila sa company natin, so I can't say no."

"But we're already in the middle of the sem, and you know I don't accept transferees kapag mid-sem. That's the rule," I said, frowning.

I really don't. Not after what happened last time. Dahil sa nangyari noon, muntikan nang masira ang reputasyon ng school ko-and I'm never letting that happen again.

"Look, if you're bothered by what happened before, I assure you it won't happen again. Besides, Mr. Frumosa is a good friend of mine. He's trustworthy."

Trustworthy? I doubt it.

And he plays dirty. He knows my weaknesses and he's not afraid to use them.

I sighed deeply.

"Fine. I'll accept her-just this once." I looked at Bluu, and he already knew what I wanted him to do.

"And another thing..."

The heck?

"Mr. Frumosa wants someone to keep an eye on his daughter. Cyan is a spoiled brat, Aiffer. Hard-headed and a bully, according to him," Dad said, disappointment clear in his voice.

"So what do you want me to do?" I asked, though I already had a feeling.

"I want you to keep an eye on her, Aiffer," he said seriously.

Seriously?! Why me? I don't have time to babysit a spoiled brat. I'd rather finish all my errands than waste time on her.

"Are you kidding me, Dad- I mean, Mr. Chairman? You know I'm a busy person. I have no time for this kind of nonsense," I said flatly.

"Come on. This is not nonsense. Mr. Frumosa is willing to invest more in our company and your school."

"My school can stand on its own without anyone's help," I said confidently.

"I see... Then I'll just send one of our men. Focus on your charity. I'll hang up now."

After he ended the call, I turned to Bluu.

"I already have her details," Bluu said, handing me his iPad.

The first thing I noticed was her picture.
Angelic, innocent face.
Tantalizing hazel eyes.
Pink pouty lips.

But the moment I read her information, I knew-isa siyang sakit sa ulo.

Multiple guidance records.
Bullying-students and teachers.
Vandalism.
Cutting classes.
Failing to submit projects.

Not as bad as I expected, but still.

As I continued reading, something caught my attention.

She dated one of her professors?

Hah. I wonder if they're still together.

I shook my head and placed the iPad on my desk. Not my business. I shouldn't even care.

"So, what's your plan, Aiffer?" Keith asked, making me pause.

"Nothing. For now, let's just observe her. If she does anything against my rules, I'll get rid of her from my school."

"That's too fast, Mr. President. Hindi ba pwedeng bigyan natin siya ng punishment muna? Like... look at this beauty," Bluu said, grinning at the girl's photo.

Hanz immediately smacked him on the head.

"Shut your mouth, you perverted playboy," Hanz hissed. These two never change.

"You shut up! Sayang naman ang pagiging escort ko if I won't use my looks," Bluu shot back, posing dramatically.

Hanz pretended to gag.

"What I mean is, we can use her beauty. Like, school representative for pageants. Kung manalo, malaki makukuha nating funds for charity," Bluu insisted.

I ignored him and continued my task until the bell rang.

I packed my things and stood up, and so did the others. I told them to go ahead since I'd lock the office.

After securing everything, I began walking toward the classroom.

I don't know if accepting that girl was the right thing to do.
But one thing's for sure-

I will make her follow my school's rules.
Whether she likes it or not.
