dear life,
you had left my body like a guest who decided to depart from the hotel of my soul way too soon. but here you are again for an eternity to stay. this time, please, do not make a brief reckless vacation out of me.

my words of worship chant only your name. every passing moment narrates your legend to me. your footprints are deep in my sand of memories. your euphoria laughs in my breaths. your whispers are heard in my fatigued voice. your scars wail in my tears.

your voice brings tranquility in the midst of disasters. how would it be if you filled my heart with the rhythm of your laughter and left my cataclysmic thoughts to rest in peace?

how would it be if you became rainwater and i became a paper boat and sailed across this world to another one through you?

how would it be if you became a sweet tryst between me and the morning effulgence? if these things were to be, i would convey a brief apology to the sunflowers for watching over them only under the moon.

how would it be if you become a lissome filament? then i would string my broken pieces between my maladroit emotions together. i would try to become whole again.

in an effort to make your stay memorable.
