SCARED | Sirius Black

Chapter Six

"Mar! Mar!" A voice boomed.

"What?"

"Why are you staring at Black and Edwards so intensely?" The red-head girl asked.

"I wasn't staring at them, I was thinking and zoned out for a bit."

"You- you're not jealous are you?" A different voice said.

"Lils." She looked to the other girl, "Alice. I'm not jealous. He can do whatever he wants. We were never in a relationship in the first place."

"I guess so." Lily said.

"That's good then. But looking at it, it is quite odd that he's now sticking with Solis Edwards. Are they in a relationship? Hmm. That's one attractive couple for sure." Alice nodded to herself.

"Let's go. DADA's starting soon."

The Gryffindor girls joined in DADA class and saw the Marauders and Solis Edwards talking. Laughing even. It was known that not many girls are accepted into their group of friends even if it was a member's girlfriend. What made Solis Edwards different? Considering she's the second female after Gwen Selwyn to be able to actually be their friends.

The class started. It was weird. The past few weeks the teachers have never called Solis to do anything. It seemed unfair to students who noticed, students like Belle Hallow. Is Solis Edwards, a teacher's pet now? That is absurd. Why did Solis even move out of the Hufflepuff dorm. Doesn't make sense at all. There must be a secret behind all this phenomenon, Belle Hallow scoffed in her head.

"Why is Solis Edwards with the Marauders? Is she dating Sirius Black? They've always been together for weeks now." Several whispers around the Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors. Belle Hallow of course heard it. She didn't want to miss anything. Solis Edwards? With Sirius Black? What in the name of Merlin?

"Good morning Class, I'm a substitute Professor for today." Professor Binns said. "Professor Eldrich is currently unwell and was sent to St.Mungo's, please understand."

Professor Binns told the students on what to do. Write essay about different types of non-verbal spell.

Sirius Black was intrigued at the mother of his baby groaned in irritation. She hated essays.

"Why? Why do we have to write essays? Can't it be practical task."

"Don't stress yourself and the baby please, Sola." Sirius smiled.

"How am I not supposed to stress on school. I'm almost 7th week pregnant and I look like a bloated baboon. Please."

"Solis, you're beautiful. How about I write the essay for you? Huh? How's that?" Solis knew that Sirius is doing this to help her and her moodiness and it actually helps.

"Okay. Thank you."

"You're writing her essay? Mine too please." James said.

"Write your own essay." Sirius snarked making James rolled his eyes. "Or better yet ask your genius girlfriend. She's a Ravenclaw for a reason, Prongs."

James huffed. "You do know she would beat the shite out of me right? If I tell her to do my essay."

"Then do it yourself." Remus joined in.

"James, you literally ace DADA and all the lessons to be an auror. Why can't you do this yourself?" Peter asked.

"Uhm because I'm exhausted. Ask Gwen."

"Ew. We don't need to know about your sex life with our other best friend." Peter grossed out.

"What? I'm not talking about that you git. I'm exhausted from my apparation training."

"Oh."

As the other three boys have silly conversations. Solis and Sirius were in their own world. Solis helped Sirius with the essay — a little bit. The pregnant girl leaned on him and putting her hand on his thigh for support.

"I'm going to be done, baby. Are you okay?" Sirius used a lot of nicknames — didn't bother Solis one bit, she just thought that's how he addresses other girls too.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just tired."

"After this, I'll take you back to your room yeah?" She nodded.

The class ended and Sirius immediately helped Solis to take her back to her dorm. Everybody were watching the two of them and they believed the rumors that the two are dating. As news spreads like a wildfire, the younger Black wondered if it was all true.
