zhenyuan got back from the cemetery, visiting his girlfriend who committed suicide a months ago. he still misses her smile, sweet lips, silky hair, everything. as he was scanning her room in their apartment, he found a peculiar box under her bed. he walked to the box and picked it up.
"should i really open this?" he paused. the curiosity got the best of him so, he opened it. it was pictures of the two of them together. one was when they were at the beach, some were from food trips and funny poses. on the bottom of the box was a notebook, decorated with beautiful flowers and butterflies. there was a big YOU & I on it. he excitedly opened it. it was all her diary entrees. he read each and every one of them.
"he makes me so happy."
"he looked so funny wearing my make-up."
"our puppy looks so adorable like her father."
he paused. "we never owned a puppy." he thought to himself and continued reading.
"i'm so happy to have you here in my arms, jinxuan. i can't wait to marry you."
zhenyuan could not believe his eyes. she has been cheating on him this whole time.
"she was a chapter in his book while he was just a page in hers."
