I drive off to Liv's house and to my surprise she was already waiting outside for me. She was always so picky about the clothes she would wear and I would have to wait for about half an hour. "You ready?" I ask her "Wait- let me check one more time...Yes I have everything."

She is so forgetful sometimes on events like these. "Alright! Let's go!" she says happily. Crush culture starts playing on the radio while driving to Samantha's house.

"I saw a bottle of champagne in that bag you have there" I tell her without taking my eyes off the road, "Yea! Mum said not to show up at a party empty handed or else it would be weird" Every year for my birthday Liv would arrive with something in hand it would vary from home-cooked meals to desserts. Soon, we finally get close to Sam's house and the road is lined up with cars and motorcycles from both sides. I knew I was going to have trouble finding a parking area.

"Look, there is an open space over there!" Liv helped me find an open area but as I was going to park my car, I saw Asher's car take the spot. GOD DAMMIT now there is no area to park my car. "Alice!!" I hear someone call out my name, I open the door and stand outside to see who it was.

It was Luca. Luca is from my English class, He would be the only person I would talk to since he looks approachable and is very friendly.

"Heyy! what's up?" I say as he comes walking towards me "The sky is up, I can't believe you don't know the answer to that question" he says in a exaggerated tone, "playing wise guy, huh?"

We started laughing. "Anyways, I yelled because I saved you a parking area since I remembered you telling me in lecture hall you'd be coming to the party" oh- right he did say something like that but while he was saying it I was distracted by Sam walking towards Ash. "Oh- I'm so sorry I didn't hear you say that" I answer him, dammit I should really start to pay attention.

"Its alright, the spots right over here" He removes the traffic cones and it was the exact amount of space needed for my car to fit. "Thank you, I thought I was going to have to park my car a block away from here." I tell him. He's helped me a lot of times already.

"uh- one question.." he asks me, he never asks me a question I'm always the one to ask him questions. "Go ahead"

"Can I join you into the party?" he asked me this question? I thought he had other friends.. "Sure, I came here with Olivia, I think you two have met before"

Liv gets out of the car and her face lights up "So you've met my cousin" she says.
