    "Alice!! you're going to be late for your first day at Oakland High!!" Mom yells from the living room. I have a black top and jeans on with some sneakers, I quickly comb my brown hair and get my book bag and head to the kitchen."

Bye mom!" I say to her before grabbing a French toast from the kitchen counter and leave. I get into my car and drive off to school, I pull up at the parking lot and I have ten minutes before class starts.

"Hiii Alii!!" I hear my best friend Olivia, Livia for short. She is wearing a black dotted white shirt with black jeans, she has a great fashion sense.

"Heyy liv, how was your trip to England?" I ask . Every year for Summer break Olivia and her family travel to England to see her aunt, Mrs. Jones. "Could have been better-" I know something went wrong in her family trip but she was interrupted by Samantha. Samantha used to be my best friend, but I don't know what happened she suddenly stopped talking to me and  ended up being  one of the mean girls in Oakland High.

"Hey girls, you guys are invited to my party after school." She says in her 'something-is-about-to-happen voice. She then leaves and walks towards another group of students nearby.

"That was weird.." I tell Livia as we find our class and take our seats, "What was?" she questions me as if she doesn't know "Samantha invited us to her party, she only invites People like her."

It's true she would never, NEVER invite people she's not close with including me.
