And walked out of the room.

Sometimes she wondered why did he reach out to her despite knowing she was an ex-villain? Why did he reach out to her despite him being a pro Hero?

His friends would ask him whether he was alright in the head, but she remembered a few of them were rather supportive.

She laughed softly to herself as she remembered the green-haired one, immediately bombarding her with questions the moment he met her.

But he didn't question about why she became a villain. None of them did, except for him. It took her a great deal to open up to him, yet, it felt as if she was still hiding from him.

Something. Somewhat.

She wasn't used to the affection she received from him, which was often. He would always try his best to ensure she was alright whenever he returned home.

And for her? She would watch the news, hoping that he wouldn't be injured gravely during a heroic battle. Hoping that he would come back quickly.

She will never forget, the very first time he talked to her. The way he spoke and said how he would put his trust into her, made her tear up immediately.

She couldn't help but feel that happiness running through her veins as she started to work hard. To prove to society that she was a changed person.

Yet, when she was a villain, she never had any ill intentions. She was always out and about harming those who made her grandmother unhappy.

Those who harmed her grandmother. And during her last act as a villain, was the day her grandmother collapsed and was bedridden forever.

Until her death.

She walked through the hallway of their simple apartment. Nothing too fancy, yet, nothing too small as well. Her pink-tinted lips parted then as she started to rummage through the fridge.

Finding what seems to be his favourite food once more, knowing that he would be returning home from his patrol soon enough.

Her pink-tinted lips parted as she continued to hum a soft tune to herself as she prepared the soba noodles that he loves whenever and wherever.

Her mind slowly drifted off then, to the day he reached out to her. And she could only feel contented and appreciated that someone was willing to place their trust into her.

"𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲. 𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮,"

Those were the words she remembered so clearly as she started to cook the noodles. Humming a soft tune while she continued with making the perfect meal although it was simple.

Yet, she didn't hear the sound of the front door opening. He chuckled softly to himself, looking as she was engrossed in cooking instead of noticing his presence.

He slowly dropped his bag down at the side, not gaining her attention as he walked closer to where she was. His lips curled up into a smile as he soon wrapped his arms around her waist.

Startling her as she turned to look and lightly hit him on the chest. He chuckled as he grabbed hold of her hand and intertwined their fingers.

His lips pressed against hers then, and he smiled against the kiss as he lets go of her hands, feeling her arms wrapped around his neck and pulling him in closer.

"How was work?" she asked, and Shoto frowned at what he was looking at. His heterochromia eyes laid upon the tear stains that were visible on her face and he placed his warm and cold hand on either side.

"Were you crying again?" he asked, and soon heard his phone ringing. With a loud sigh did he answer, and an irk mark visible on his forehead did he yell back.

"I TOLD YOU! NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS ABOUT WHO I'M DATING!" he yelled out and shut his phone, turning to look at her once more, noticing her terrified expression.

She knew all too well who he had spoken to. And she remembered the threat she received from Todoroki Shoto's father. He doesn't want his son who was a Pro Hero to date someone who his an ex-villain.

But Shoto didn't care as he pressed his lips against her forehead then, and smiled sweetly at her. He then helped her in preparing the food and eventually the duo sat opposite one another at the small dining table.

Enjoying the peace and quiet, only for Shoto to speak.

"[name]," he called out and [name] looked up to him, noticing how he was pushing towards her a box that had a ribbon on it. She tilts her head a little as she reached out and opened it.

"Marry me," he spoke out, and her eyes widened at what he had said and she was about to reject. Only for him to speak up before she could do so.

"I know. You are worried about how others will view me. But it doesn't matter. You deserve a second chance, and I will make sure it happens. I love you [name]. Please, marry me and make me the happiest man alive," he spoke out and [name] couldn't help but let the tears fall her face.

Nodding her head did he slip the ring onto her finger.

"Now, let's go pissed the old man off," he spoke out and [name] couldn't help but laugh and nodded her head as Shoto stood up, walking over to where she was and kissing her on the lips once more.

"I love you [name]," he repeated.

"I love you too... Shoto... Thank you for giving me a second chance at being a civilian again," she whispered out.
