《Avatar : The Last Airbender x Demon Slayer》
Y/N L/N. A humble girl from a small village, seemingly loved by the townspeople, suddenly runs away one night.

After encountering a peculiar boy and his demon sister, they jo...
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm no Avatar if Ican't even protect someone right next to me.
"I-Inosuke..." My eyes widen as he coughs up blood through his mask, and I begin to black out until I feel the ground beneath me again. The demon's scream was all I heard as I gasped and gagged for air, seeing both arms now cleanly cut off.
Rolling over on my side I recognized the familiar person. It's... The same guy... from two years ago.
The one with the mismatched haori. Did he... save us?
Before I can even say something, I feel a punch through my gut, sending me flying through the air as I coughed blood.
Did I just get kicked?! I can't even see a thing! Where am I?

I black out, only to wake up on the ground, alone in the silence of the night. I look around, but see nothing other than tall trees surrounding me, the pale light of the moon illuminating everything.
Slowly, I sit up. "Where... Am I?"
I feel a sting in my chest, remembering my injuries, slowly coming to my senses. "Inosuke!" I left Inosuke alone! What if him and the mismatched haori guy couldn't take him down?!
"Inosuke? Inosuke! Inosuke, can you hear me?!"
Getting up, I start running, calling out to anyone, really. "Tanjiro?! Inosuke?! Zenitsu?!"
I need to find them. I need to help them! The more I keep going, the weaker I begin to feel, until my legs fall numb onto the dirt. My lungs unable to cope with how much air I needed. It's so tiring to even move now.
"My, my! It's certainly been a while!" The bright voice of a woman fills my ears, and I look up behind me, seeing Amaterasu smile at me.

"What can I do for you, my dear young Avatar?"
"I... I need your help! I have to find my friends! They might be hurt, o-or worse!"
"I don't see how I can help you out there."
"Can't I just... somehow find them through the Avatar state?"
She giggled. "I don't even think you need me here."
"I do! I-I'm not strong enough! I haven't helped anyone! I need to find them! Please!" I beg on my knees, praying there's a way to find them as quickly as possible.
She sighed, still smiling as her hand pats my head. "Get up."
I do so, and she continues. "There's a way to find at least two of them. Your siblings."
"I could find both Tanjiro and Nezuko? How?"
She chuckled. "You're bonded for life, aren't you? Shouldn't be so hard, especially for one of us!"
I'm a little confused. "Everyone and everything is connected. Just like the sun is tied to the moon, you are tied to them. You've created an unbreakable bond between each other. You need them, and they need you."
She smiled. "That's how you find them."
I nod, following her next instructions. "Close your eyes, and breathe. Clear your mind and simply listen."
I do as told, attentively listening to the nature around me. The smallest rustle of leaves, the tiny crawls of insects and the faint howl of the wind.
It's so silently loud.
"Good. Now find them. Remember the most distinctive characteristic. Feel the threads that tie you together. Follow them, and you have found them."
The most distinctive characteristic...
... Isn't everything about them distinctive? The way Tanjiro speaks, the way he smiles, or laughs, or even his worried gaze. Aren't they distinctive?
Or Nezuko's warm voice, the comforting hugs she gives, the soft laughter that never fails to make one smile, or her tight yet gentle grip as she holds my hand.
Tanjiro is... Kind. He's strong, brave, dependable, clever. Nezuko is strong, loyal, she's just incredible.
They're both incredible. There's such a familiarity about them I can't ignore. A distant warmth, but a warmth nonetheless.
"What are they to you?"
My allies; My best friends. Most importantly, my family. "They're my family.."
"Good. Now find your thread, and chase it."
I keep breathing, feeling nothing as I search and search. My hand soon grazed gentle strings, silky and soft to the touch. Their origins lead to me, and at the ends I'd find Tanjiro and Nezuko.
I found it. This is our bond. Now all I have to do is let it guide me. I start to run, the strings feeling stronger and warmer the closer I get.
Our bond may be forged, but we forged it together. And I'm never going to let anyone tear us apart.
