"Dan is right. Why does Mr Demilade not end it? Our life needs to go back to normal."

"Will you go back to become Demilade driver?" Lola suddenly asked.

The elderly man stared at his daughter for a while before he answered. "Why not? I don't have any choice, do I? Job isn't easy to find nowadays. And it's not like he sacks me. I'm already tired of staying at home all day." He answered his daughter. Daniel and his sister exchanged a glance.

"Maybe you should start the business you want with some part of the money I will receive from the deal," Lola suggested.

"No." He retorted.

"But dad, I don't mind."

"No... I won't. That is your money. And you are using it to go back to school. Nothing more than that."

"I don't want you to go back to a driving job."

"I'm the father Lola and it's my responsibility to take care of the family. Stop worrying about me. When the time is right, I will rest and reap the fruit of my labour. It is not your responsibility to always worry."

"Dad.."

"I'm serious, Tiwalola. I want to go and sleep. Goodnight." Mr Bamidele said and he stood up and went to his room.

Lola heaved a sigh and she noticed the twins staring at her. She pats their heads gently. Her brother stared at her.

"He is just not in a good mood," Daniel assured her, trying to convince her

"So what do you want us to do? How do you want us to tell Demilade?" Mrs Jolaoluwa asked her mother. She had finally agreed to her mother's pleading. But the ball isn't only in her hand, Demilade also has a hand in it. And it is like mission impossible.

The old woman seems to think before she gives her daughter a response.

"I've also been thinking about this. It's going to be hard. We have to find a good way to pacify him and a good time. But most of this job is in your hand."

"I don't want to do this. I know how painful this is to my son. I remember what he said to me the last time I told him about Lawrence. I can still remember the anger, the hatred he have for him as he said those words. And I can't blame him at all. I have my hatred for him."

"You both have to let go of it. You have to do this. For yourself and your son peace of mind. You have to do this. He will listen to you because you are his mother." Mrs Grace said.

She heaved a sigh and answered.

"But how?"

"We will find a way. When is Demilade returning from his trip?" She asked her daughter.

"He called me yesterday. He told me he won't be coming back during the weekend. But he wasn't sure when he will be back."

"Okay. That gives us enough time to think properly about this. We have to find a very good time. Your son is very temperament. And you and I both know the angry side of him... Isn't so good."

"I don't want to think about it. But I have a feeling this will trigger it." She said and exhaled. And she rests her head on her hand.

Here is a bonus chapter. I don't think I have updated three chapters consecutively before. But here it is.

And I also want to use this medium to ask you to check out one of my good friends and a writer on Wattpad Wendy_Opurum books. Wattpad did something so annoying and she lost her account, books and all the votes and reads of the books. It's so painful and very annoying. I can't imagine losing FACADE and all the reads and votes it had.

I was sad when I saw the reads on CONFLICTED. A book that had almost 3k reads is now in 600+ reads. Please help me support her by going to her profile to check out her books. There are great books and there are teen fiction. You will definitely like it because I do.

Thanks for your consideration.

Don't forget to vote.
