He was very shocked to see his sister. Most especially at that time of the day. It was already nine-thirty at night.

Lola just walked past him into the sitting room. And she was almost pushed to the ground when the twins jumped on her with so much impact.

"Sister Lola." They shouted almost screaming their lungs out.

"What's that? Stop screaming." Daniel warned as he entered the sitting room.

Lola glared at him and she turned to the twins. "Hey girls. My cute babies." She replied with a broad smile. The first true smile since the previous day.

"Sister Lola, I have missed you. My friend is all asking of you." Tife said.

"Yes. I miss that ice cream you use to make for us. Brother Daniel can not even turn amala properly." Tito said. And Lola laughed.

"Boluwatito, if I spank your head," Daniel said from his seat and the girls giggled.

"Leave my babies joor. Is it someone that tells you not to be able to turn amala properly?" She mocked her brother.

Daniel just rolled his eyes and stared at his sister as she take her seat. The twins climbed up beside her sitting at her sides.

"Where is Daddy?" She asked.

"He went to see the landlord." He replied.

"Is anything the problem?" Lola asked.

"No, he just wants to complain about the extra charge the man adds to the house rent."

"That man is greedy. He is always adding to the house rent. Selfishness." Lola cursed to herself.

"Sister Lola, what do you buy for us?" Tife asked.

"What do you also get for me?" Lola asked them.

"Ah ah ah." They grimaced.

"But we don't have any money," Tito answered.

And Lola and Daniel laughed.

"They are becoming something else," Daniel said shaking his head.

"I got you guys something but you are not taking it this night. You will take it to school tomorrow."

They grimaced but nodded and that is when they heard footsteps coming toward the door. The door opened and her father strode in.

"Daddy good evening." Lola greeted going on her knees.

The man was surprised. He is wondering what his daughter was doing back at home. Her bag is still on the floor beside the centre table.

"Daniel, take my bag to my room," Lola ordered her brother when she saw her father's eyes go to the bag.

He nodded and took the bag and went to her room.

"Good evening." He replied to her and he went to take his seat on the old sofa. "What happens?"

"Nothing."

"Nothing. I thought the deal is not ending till next week. Did something happen? Did he send you away?"

"No dad. He asked me to come home since he is on a trip."

"A trip?"

"Yes. He travels to Japan today." She said. Her voice was a little quiet. "He said the deal has to continue when he returns next week."

"But can't he just let the deal end without him being there? Doesn't he knows you have your own life?" Daniel said angrily. He was already back in the living room. He had hurriedly dropped the bag and came out to hear what his sister have to say.
