Barry nods lightly, "Yeah- Palmer and Racine, around 11:00 last night."

"Whoa-" Cisco pulled up the security footage, all our eyes glued, watching a legitimate shadow kill him, "That's gonna give me night terrors."

HR points, "Shade."

"What?" I look at him.

HR looks at me, "We had a meta-hominid on my planet who could do virtually the same thing, called himself Shade."

"What did he do, throw his side-eye at his enemies?" Cisco remarked, pulling down the footage.

"No, I know, it's a terrible nickname, right?" HR replied, "But- what Shade could do was vibrate at such a high frequency he created the illusion that he was a shadow."

"That's how I phase." Barry points out.

I ask, "Do you think he's doing the same thing?"

"He has to be." Cisco gestured, "Heat signature's fluctuating- red shift is ridiculous."

"Okay, so he is." Caitlin nods slowly, "He must be slowing down his molecules whenever he attacks."

Cisco thought out loud, "So- we just have to figure out a way to keep them slowed down, and that should be enough to grab him."

"All right, can you get started?" Barry questioned.

Cisco looks lightly taken back by his request, "Okay, but, like, right this minute?-"

"Yeah, I'm sorry- we just- we gotta stop this guy fast so we can focus on Alchemy." Barry sighs, "Wally has been having dreams about being a speedster, Alchemy dreams."

"He was a speedster in Flashpoint?" Cisco looks at him, "Anyone else gonna have powers we should know about?"

Barry shook his head, "No."

"All right." Cisco inhales and takes a few steps back, "I'm gonna work on Shade."

HR stood up, "I'll supervise."

"You're gonna find my cuffs." Cisco shot back.

HR sips his coffee, "I'll have to find some cuffs."

"So, you're telling me- you kissed Julian- and went out on a date with him- after you had a talk with Barry about your guys' relationship the week before- but, you're not together- with either of them?" Cisco was typing away on his computer as I sat in his workshop while he worked, "God, you're in deep- and god, it's confusing-"

"God, I know-" I huffed, leaning back against the seat I sat in by his desk, biting into my licorice, "I never thought my entire life I'd actually be stuck between two guys- it's infuriating-"

"I can't believe you're actually complaining to me about your love life right now- this is so interesting." Cisco leaned over and took a bite of my licorice, "Why haven't you ever told me stuff like this before?"

I shoot him a look, "Iris is at work."

"Oh- low blow-" Cisco threw a pen at me, as I softly laughed at him, picking up the pen from the ground when it fell after coming in contact with my arm.

I tossed the pen onto the desk with a huff, "I can't believe I'm in a literal love triangle."

"Yeah, you're literally the Elena Gilbert of our world-" Cisco snickers at me, pausing his typing.
