"Yo, Y/N wake up." someone tried waking up the sleeping girl, much to their acquaintance, there wasn't much success in doing so. For a skilled assassin, she let her guard down way to easily when sleeping.
"Hmm, leave me alone, touch me again and ill break your arm." The girl said coldly to her waker, who without hesitation, picked the girl up and placed her on their back. She opened her eyes in shock realizing the person who had picked her up was none other than Killua. "Killua, i swear of it was another person i would have killed them."
"Which is exactly why i picked you up instead, you would have killed Gon." He said, nonchalantly, as if killing someone who actully wanted to be next to you even if you were an assassin was ok.
"Yeah but that doesn't mean ill make an exception for you, Killua~" Saying his name in such a tone the boy flushed red. Never in his life would he expect hearing his name being called out to him like that. Especially by the girl he thought was almost completely innocent, almost is an understatement considering who she was..
Killua cleared his throat, it being suddenly dry. He set you down on the ground, when looking at your face all he found was a seductive smirk, how could a 12 year old girl pull that type of smirk? What had she been taught that she lost all innocence since the last time they saw each other.
This time, it was Leorio clearing his throat. "Did we miss something?"
Y/N snapped back to reality, her innocent face suddenly coming back, looking at the too elders infront of her. "Nope!'" How does one have the muscle capability to change faces so god damn fast?
"Well, anyways, we should get going guys." Y/N said turning around and walking through the gates to the second phase. "Hey! you said 'we' as in you want to hang out with us!" Gon said, jumping happily in the air showing off his excitement. "Yeah, maybe i do Gon.. Maybe i do." She chuckled, only loud enough for the four boys to hear, all now beaming with a sudden happiness that that little laugh brought to their ears. Killua was right, it was the most beautiful thing they have ever heard. Killua smiled, putting his hands in his pockets and walking behind the girl, into the gates of the second phase, everyone else following his motions.
They all stood next to each other, with an exception of Y/N being far up ahead, talking with the examiner for the second phase. "Yo, why is Y/N talking to her?" Leorio said, seeming confused. All the boys just shrugged at him, not knowing either. The woman with green hair, and very revealing clothes laughing at something Y/N had said. Still though, Y/N hadn't even smirked, all she had was a straight face, maybe a little bit of annoyance.
The woman that was laughing realized Y/N straight face and fixed herself up, turning her attention to the applicants. "Sorry about that, umm, let me introduce myself, my name is Menchi and this is Buhara, we will be the examiners for this years second phase. Well, we have one more examiner this year...and that is.. Y/N Hamari!" Menchi finished,signaling both her arms towards Y/N, who unsurprisingly had a straight face. "Sup." Was all she said, not even a slight tint of the happiness we had seen just a while ago.
"Wait! but why does she get to be an examiner! she's just a kid! and she's an applicant just like the rest of us!" A fat man called from the pile of applicants. Menchi tried to say something, but Y/N silenced her right away. Y/N walked a little forward, her head looking at the floor. "Aww, we made her sad!" The man said. "Yeah, i may be just a kid.." Y/N looked up, her eyes gleaming with lust, as her aura was let out screaming I'm-going-to-kill-you-if-you-dont-shut-up. Everyone seemed to be frightened by the emence aura, even if you couldn't see it, you defiantly felt it, thats how strong this girl was. "Im a kid that can kick your ass in a matter of seconds and kill you on the spot, so shut your ramp before i do exactly so." She turned her aura off, walking away, her back faced to the applicants once again before giving a side glance to them one more time. "Oh, and if you decide randomly to disrespect me, or anyone else here, be sure that everyone will forget about you, and when your alone... you better keep your guard up, well even with that you still die."
"Now, now Y/N, no need to threaten him." Buhara said, patting Y/N hair, not messing it up somehow. "yeah but i really want to kill him." Y/N said, her monotone voice seeping with lust. "Ok, well then, if he doesn't pass, you have my word ill let you kill him infront of everone." Menchi cut in. A veil smirk now growing on your face, everyone gulped, excluding Illumi or well known as Gittarackur and Hisoka, who just smirked, Illumi knowing full well about her power and Hisoka planning the exact moment he should fight her, also knowing that Illumi might kill him if he fights with her. Illumi 'loved' Y/N the same way he "loved" Killua. {A/N: notice how i put quotes on loved cuz the excuse me for my language, BITCH, don't know how to show Killua TRUE LOVE but some HALF ASSED KILLING SPREE FAKE ASS "LOVE", thank you for your time.}
"Yay! Thank you Menchi!" Y/N hugged the woman,her happiness now returning. "Im so happy she's on our side." Leorio said, whispering loud enough for only the three boys to hear. 'Mhm' the all said synchronized, Gon wasn't really scared of Y/N at all, he thought she was exceptionally cool, Kurapika, admittedly was a bit frightened by the girls power, certainly going to ask her what power she had later on. Leorio, definatly was afraid of this girl, her power, energy, and the appearance of a fragile little girl being only a cover up for the demon inside of her? Nah, he best stay away. Now, Killua, he was NOT afraid. No, he was utterly... nothing... nothing could explain the feeling he had for the immense power the girl just showed, well, he couldn't quite put his finger on the foreign feeling crawling up in his chest.
"Alright anyways, your task for the second phase is cooking!" Menchi stated her hands on her hips, interrupting Killua from his thoughts. "Oh and it'll be meat that you'll need for this years exam." Y/N put in as the applicants ran out to find what was needed. "Didn't say that the only meet here was from the pig though.." Y/N evilly giggled. "You are way to much Y/N." Menchi said, taking a seat on the couch next to Buhara who patiently waited for his meals. "Always have, always will."
"So, anything interesting happen in the last few years? Last i heard you found the Zoldyck mansion in a matter of hours!" Menchi exclaimed. You had met Menchi when you were just a 5 year old girl, still learning the ropes of assassination. She had always brought you your favorite food anytime she would visit. Why would she visit? She was very good friends with your "mother" back then. After a while, they just stopped talking for some reason that you never really cared to find out, though it broke your heart you couldn't get your favorite snacks anymore. "Hmm, well, i did meet up with the boy i told you about." Y/N said munching on some Mochi ice cream Menchi had given her. (Mocha is a japanese ice cream, search it up if you don't know what it is lol)
"Oh! That boy you said that was part of the Zoldyck family? The one with blue eyes? White hair? Isn he here?" Menchi kept being talkative as you just nodded your head, answering without a word. "Aww, who knew the heartless assassin Y/N Hamari could be capable of love." That struck a cord. Y/N had never been hurt from words spoken to her before. Being called a 'Monster', 'Killer', and many other things, it just came with the job, but, 'heartless'? That stung in her heart. "Yeah, who knew..but its not love Menchi, i barely know the guy anyways. I just saw him once and he happened to be here while i was." Monotone and hurt flooded her voice, as much as she tried to hide it, she just couldn't shake 'heartless' out of her head.
"Oh their back already?" Menchi changed the subject, seeing as the applicants came back from the task, pigs on their back and getting to work in the work place they were given. "Ill just sit back here and wait for them to finish." Y/N said, moving from the table she was at next to Menchi, laying her head on Buharas shoulder. She always felt like he was the big bother she never had. He always protected her from her moms crazes when he came around with Menchi. These people always treated her right.. except for what Menchi just said of course.
"Why don't you try and go help your friends over there?" Menchi asked. Seeming as like she didn't just insult the girl next to her. "Yeah sure why not." Not even sparring her a glance, Y/N walked down to Killua seeing if he needed any help. "Hey, need any help?"
