3-The Crush- January 27, X780

 In time, Natsu and I have developed a really close relationship, I think I might even have a crush on him. On my 13th birthday, which was last week, he gave me a necklace with a fireball pendant. I changed my whole look to suit my personality better, different clothes, shoes, and hair. Natsu and I formed an official team on my birthday. I’m at the request board at the guild talking to Natsu about job requests.

“I think we should go on this one, it’s really simple!” I said, pointing at one.

“Not enough Jewel.” He said, pointing at the reward.

“How much money does a reward need to be?!” I asked.

“At least 50,000J.” He answered.

“You’re so picky!” I exclaimed.

“How about this job?” He asked, pointing at a high reward.

“100,000J!?” I asked, ripping it off the board.

“I think we selected a job!” He said, smiling at me. I smiled back at him, handing him the job request.

“Let’s see, capture some bandits.” He said, reading the job request.

“Well, get Happy and go!” I said, pushing him away.

“You’re not not coming?” He asked.

“I’m just going to make us a packed lunch.” I said, walking away from him.

“See you at the train station!” He said, walking away. I watched him leave, smiling at him. I started walking to my apartment. I knew exactly what to make us, my turkey sandwiches. He always says he they’re his favorite. As soon as I entered the kitchen in my apartment, I raided the fridge for food. I got out the ingredients, bread, turkey, swiss cheese, and my secret ingredient, soy sauce. I made 20 sandwiches, knowing Natsu and Happy’s way with food. I put them neatly in a basket, then left for the train. I saw our train was about to leave, so I started running towards it. I saw Natsu barfing out the window. I sat down next to him.

“Motion sickness already, it’s not even moving yet!?” I told him.

“You don’t get it……….” He said, still barfing out the window. I started to pat his back, helping him barf. The train started to move.

“Want me to use Troia, I haven’t used it in a while, so it might work now?” I asked him.

“Please, use-” He said, not finishing because he was barfing.

“Okay, here it goes!” I said, putting my hands over him.

“Troia!” I said, using the spell. He stopped barfing, bringing his head back inside the train.

“Thanks, you’re a good friend.” He said, wiping his mouth.

“I have a napkin, want to use it?” I said, grabbing one from the backpack. He took it from my hand and wiped the barf from his face.

“Happy didn’t want to come along.” He said, looking out the window.

“It’s just the two of us?!” I asked, with my face turning completely red.

“What’s so weird about that?” He asked, turning his head towards me.

“It’s just, you’re a boy, and I’m a girl…….” I said, trailing off from my sentence.

“Huh?” He asked, looking confused.

“Nevermind, it’s nothing!” I said, waving my hands in front of my face.

“You’re weird.” He said.

“I went from “good friend” to “weird”?!” I asked.

“Weird in a good way!” He said, with a slight blush. Or atleast I think it was a blush.
