"You like me?" Asked a shocked and confused Y/n Y/l/n. Spencer, who had just told Y/n of her crush on the younger boy, nodded timidly. "I-I-I like you too."
"You do?" Spencer lit up with a small smile.
"Yeah, I just didn't think you'd feel the same way." Y/n admitted with an honest shrug.
"C-Can I kiss you?" Spencer asked, cheeks flushed.
"I uh, I just, I don't know- I don't think we should rush into this." Y/n answered, nervously scratching at the back of his head. "As much as I would love to speed into this, I think we should step back so I can tell you something."
Spencer becomes a little worried, her face contorted in confusion.
"What is it?"
Y/n takes a deep breath.
"Though I've told people this a lot, it never gets easier to explain it," He started. "I'm trans. I was born female but as I grew up, I realised that wasn't who I was and I came out and went and did all the things that made me finally feel comfortable as me."
Spencer was intently listening, wanting badly to interrupt, but she could see that he still needed to speak so she let him continue.
"I've been on testosterone for almost 2 years, but I haven't had top surgery yet so I have really bad chest dysphoria. Meaning I get really uncomfortable about my chest."
"Can I say something?" Spencer inquired, finally interrupting him but doing it politely. "I already knew."
Y/n froze, full of shock.
"W-Wait, what? How?"
"When I first went to your place, I couldn't help but notice a little container with the transgender flag on it," Spencer paused when needed to. "When you weren't there, I opened it out of curiosity and there was a set of-"

"Needles." Y/n cut in with a sigh as he shook his head. Spencer stepped closer, noticing how Y/n wouldn't meet her eyes anymore.
"Y/n, it wouldn't matter whether I already knew or if you had told me," Spencer reaches for Y/n's hand and he finally looks up. "It wouldn't change the way I feel about you."
Y/n gazed hopelessly into Spencer's eyes, watching Spencer staring back right back at him. Spencer saw an opportunity and leaned her head closer so when her lips landed on Y/n's, it was comfortable for both parties.
"I guess I'm not that good at keeping secrets, huh?" Y/n couldn't help but laugh.
"No, you're just terrible at hiding them from me."
