"What's bad enough to make him panic like that..?"
"Aizawa- Sensei? Are you alright?"
"What's going on?"
"Why is Mic Sensei watching us?"
"Where are you going?"
Shouta ignored them as he readied his capture scarf. He didn't look up as he put the rest of his gear on. The class progressively got more worried at the sight of the gear.
"Mic is gonna watch you guys while I go somewhere. Just hero work. Behave, all of you." Even Katsuki didn't have the guts to talk back, the entire class sensing the finality in his voice. Yamada soon entered the room, worry written across his face.
"What's wrong, Shouta?" He quietly whispered, seeing the rest of the class intently watching. Even Shinsou was awake by now, a bit startled by the worry of his teachers.
"Something happened, pretty sure it's related to Midoriya. I'm not taking the risk of wasting time explaining. Just.... calm them down." Shouta nodded to the class, some of which were starting to panic themselves. If something was so bad as to worry their teacher, a bad ass underground hero who never showed a hint of fear, it had to be worse than even villains.
"Yeah, I've got the little listeners. You go ahead, see you soon." Shouta nodded before heading out, breaking into a run the second he was out of view of the classroom.
"Mic Sensei, what's going on?" Iida asked, voicing the concerns of the class. The blonde man put on a wide smile, letting out a soft laugh to lighten the mood.
"Ah, don't worry about Shouta, he'll be fine. Just some hero work." The class uneasily accepted the answer, settling back I to their seats to find something to do with the free time they had been given.
Hizashi continued to stare at his phone, waiting for a message that his husband was alright. Across the room, Bakugou did the same, looking for something to tell him his best friend was safe.

Shouta Aizawa jumped across the rooftops of Musufatsu as fast as he could, causing some of the pedestrians and lime light heroes to look up at him. He usually patrolled at night, as to catch more dangerous villains and hide his identity, but he couldn't give two shits about that now. Half the world knew who he was anyways, what with all the attention his class had received. And he certainly wasn't going to let such trivial matters keep him from his kid.
He looked at his phone for the umpteenth time, making sure he was going in the right direction. He hadn't received a single message since the one text, and wasn't even sure if it was Midoriya who sent it. Of course, every instinct he had was screaming at him that his student was in trouble, had been since the previous night. But Aizawa never listened to his instincts without solid proof to back them up. He had thought he would be able to confront Midoriya at school, and had ignored every gut feeling in his body. Now he was paying the price.
With each passing second, his anxiety grew, eating at him as the fears of his student being injured lodged in his brain. He prayed to find the kid safe and sound, sleeping. That it had been an accidental message, or Midoriya was finally going to ask for help. But no, he knew that wasn't the case.
He picked up his pace as the dull building came into view, and froze in his tracks. The entire place was rotting, the brick cracking. Half dead vines creeped up the sides, poking in through cracked and broken windows. But no, that's not what made the man's heart drop.
