"Well, then you can go to your seat if you aren't going to say anything-"
"I didn't say I wouldn't tell you anything, I just said I wouldn't tell you his personal business. Clean your ears out, eyebags." Aizawa looked up, rolling his eyes at the insult. He wore those eyebags with pride, thank you very much.
"So?"
"So, I'm going to tell you that I'm worried out of my mind right now. Shit happened, and.... and he.... last night, there was that storm, right?" Shouta nodded, slightly confused with what a storm had to do with this. "The nerd said he would be doing.... something that night, and when I called to tell him to go home, he wouldn't pick up."
Shouta chewed the inside of his mouth as he began sorting papers. This always happened when there was something going on. What he previously thought was a decently clean workspace was suddenly a shitshow, and he went crazy trying to organize everything. It was irrational, but then again, so was worrying over one kid based off of only a few tipping points. Then again, that store robbery was definitely no small tipping point, nor was that encounter he had only a night ago.
"Okay, so he doesn't pick up. Is this unusual?" Bakugou huffed and nodded. "Okay, did he show any weird behavior yesterday?" Bakugou looked to the side. A hesitant shake of the head was Shouta's only answer. Shouta sighed and pinched his nose. "Bakugou, I can't do anything to help the kid if you don't tell me what the hell is going on. I may be a pro hero and a teacher, but I can assure you, I do not have the ability to read minds." Katsuki huffed.
"He seemed sad, okay? But.... he's always sad. And I knew what he was doing last night, so I know that it isn't the problem. And before you ask, I'm not telling you what he was doing last night, so don't even ask." Shouta gave an irritated huff of his own, scribbling down a quick grade without a second glance.
"I don't know why he didn't pick up. I just.... I have a really bad feeling. And I- I just feel like I need to find him...." Aizawa nodded. He knew that feeling all too well, the need to make sure there wasn't something wrong whenever something was slightly off. He jotted down another grade with his red pen and felt his own stomach twist at the color. His mind was quickly reverting to the previous night, and so he offered something that would most likely be shot down.
"How about I check up on him after school? I need to talk to Midoriya either way, and if you're this worried, then it can't hurt if I just talk to his mother or something." Katsuki flinched and bit his lip. Shouta furrowed his brows, his worry steadily rising. Bakugou was never this quiet.
"No. You- you don't need to know where he lives-" Bakugou clammed up at his own words, his face suddenly growing a bit paler. Aizawa stood up and walked around his desk, coming to stand in front of his student.
"Bakugou. What aren't you telling me? I need to know these type of things. Is he not living at his grandmother's house?" Shouta looked up at the clock hastily. At least ten minutes before anyone came to class.
"I- fine. I've been telling him he needs help ever since I found out anyways, and I'm not above getting it for him. Izuku doesn't live with Siomachi anymore. He lives at that old abandoned apartment that was fucking murdered by a hurricane. Don't ask me why, because this is for him to talk about when he's ready. But knowing him, he wouldn't ask for help until the last possible second, so I'm doing it for him. You're going to make sure he's okay, got it? No asking him shitty questions, got it?" Bakugou was acting brash and bossy, but Aizawa knew how to read his students like a book.
