So, because of the death metal blasting at full volume in his ears -it wasn't really death metal, it was just really loud- the greenette failed to notice a certain aggressive blonde walk in, shoulders slouched and his hands in his pockets. He actually didn't notice him until the crimson eyed boy ripped out one of Izuku's earphones and let off a small explosion in his ear, making Izuku almost jump out the window. The greenette turned off his music and glared, severely annoyed. Bakugou only smirked and sat backwards in his seat in front of Izuku.
"Hey nerd, care to explain the giant ass bruise on your face? Bet that got you some shit looks this morning." Bakugou paused, and, as if it was an after thought, said, "Oh, and nice music, I guess. Isn't that song called Bullet? Never pinned you for one to listen to suicidal music, but okay." Katsuki smirked, as if he knew how annoying he was being.
Izuku sighed, rolling his eyes and trying not to lose his temper. Not having any breakfast had put him in a crappy mood. Which was weird, since he never really ate breakfast to begin with. "It's fine, Kacchan. Me and my- um, my mom, were visiting my grandmother." Katsuki's reaction was instant, a sneer crossing over his face.
"Siomachi? That lady sucks. Always did hate her."
Izuku laughed. His grandmother was probably the one thing they could agree on these days, and it was that Siomachi was a bitch. "Yeah, she kinda does. Anyways, um, I guess she didn't hear me this morning while she was making breakfast, cause she freaked out and threw a cup at me." Katsuki stared at him, and Izuku shuffled in his seat.
"Really Deku? And she didn't even try to make sure there wasn't any blood? Wow, she sucks. Like, really hard." Izuku laughed again, and for a split second, he could almost believe him and Katsuki were friends. Almost.
"Hey.... why do you care anyways, Kacchan? No offense, but I was under the impression you hated me?" Midoriya tilted his head, slightly confused at the somewhat guilty expression he received. Izuku truly did believe the blonde boy hated his guts, so he couldn't figure out why the boy was all of the sudden worried.
Katsuki sighed, the sound drawn out and exhausted. "Look, Deku. I don't hate you. You're a stupid nerd, but I don't hate you. And I'm worried, because I've met Siomachi. And she is a piece of work. You remember that one time we were both at her house when we were kids?" Izuku nodded, not really sure where the conversation was going. And in all reality, he was just really happy his former childhood friend didn't hate him.
Katsuki nodded in turn, actually calm for once. "Yeah, well we were watching this hero fight on tv, and Endeavor was the one fighting. You got all excited and went 'My dad can do fire too!' or something like that. The old hag threw a pan at you. I totally freaked out and was about to call the cops, but she missed. She was apparently mad cause you mentioned your dad. Who, I must admit, was also a piece of work." Izuku stared at him, shocked. He had never recalled his grandmother throwing something at him when they were kids, much less because he mentioned his father. Aizawa seemed to be shocked as well, from what Izuku could see.
"Yeah... I don't remember that, actually. But I guess I can understand why she got pissed. Hisashi was a fucktard." Bakugou roared with laughter, squeezing his eyes shit and wheezing. Izuku was so shocked that he started to laugh as well. At the front of the room, Aizawa stared at the two in disbelief, occasionally turning to look at his coffee thermos as if someone had drugged it and he was high. Which of course only made Katsuki laugh harder.
"Oh my god. Oh my fucking god. Seriously had no idea you knew what a cuss word was, Deku. Never heard you call Hisashi by his real name either." Katsuki made eye contact with Izuku for a split second before breaking into a grin. "You're different Deku. I don't know what it is, but you're just different these days. Cussing and being sassy and crap. It was funny, watching you snap at Four-eyes that one time." Izuku beamed, overjoyed to be complimented by Katsuki. Overjoyed to be having a real conversation. Aizawa continued to stare at the two and his coffee thermos.
