"Ya know, she was your daughter. Maybe try feeling a little bad that she's dead now? Just a thought." Siomachi looked just about ready to smack him again. "And I already told you, she committed suicide after, like, a year of being sick. Swallowed half a bottle of prescription pills, she was dead before I got home from work." A look of shock crossed the woman's face briefly before turning back into a glare.

"I asked how you even got to this point. Why did she get sick in the first place, you smarmy brat." It was less of a question and more of a demand, but Izuku sighed and decided it would be easier to just tell the truth.

"She committed suicide after she saw me fighting a villain on tv. I was at my work study and they caught the fight on the news. She must've thought I was dead or something, I don't know. But she drank almost a gallon of bleach. She had lost her job shortly before, and I couldn't pay the apartment off in time. We were thrown out and I had to get a house in some trash heap of a neighborhood. I lost my first three jobs, just got two more. She killed herself while I was at work yesterday."

Izuku kept his gaze glued to the floor as Siomachi stood up, rage clear on her face. He expected her to yell and scream, but her words were dead quiet instead. But they were still full of rage and hatred.

"So it's your fault." Izuku whipped his head up, staring at the woman with eyes as wide as saucers. He shook his head as he stood up as well, getting scared.

"It's not my fault! I-" Siomachi slapped the boy again, making him fall back onto the couch.

"It is! She got sick because of you! She lost her job because you left home, just like your shit father! She died because you failed to realize she was still suicidal, because you were too selfish to do what was best for her and register her into a psych ward! She would have been cared for, well fed, given help! But no, you were a selfish little brat!" The grey haired woman screamed at her grandson, her rage making it seem as if the walls were coming down.

Izuku tried to suppress the tears, but they came anyways, rolling down the well word tracks on his face. The worst part of all this? She was right. He should have submitted her to a psych ward, but he was too selfish, thinking he could take care of her himself. He could have paid the hospital after she had been cured, could have done something right for once. He was so stupid.

This is a serious trigger warning. I'm not good at writing this kind of stuff, so I'll make it as short as possible. Look for the next A.N.

"Don't you dare cry. You brought all this on yourself. You killed her, so don't even try and feel remorse now. Keep this up and I'll give you a real reason to cry, you goddamn brat!" Siomachi tore the boy off the couch and threw him to the floor, ignoring the soft whimpers and cries she got in return.

"I told her she shouldn't have stayed with that asshole Hisashi, but she completely ignores me, and it gets her killed. Stop your pathetic crying, brat! No one cares, so will you just shut up?!" Every yell was followed by a slap, a kick, a punch. Some form of punishment.

Izuku curled up into a ball, trying to protect his stomach when it started to be repeatedly kicked with the bright red heels. He sobbed when he felt his mind telling him that it was Hisashi again. Hisashi kicking him, Hisashi screaming at him. Except this time, his mother wasn't there to try and make him stop. He couldn't breath. He couldn't see. He couldn't think. He was going into a panic attack, and there was no one to pull him out.
