I burned her." Izuku suddenly blurted out, making Katsuki turn his head.
"What do you mean, 'Zuku?"
"She didn't want to be buried. She always said that when she left the world, she wanted to actually leave. Wanted to be cremated. Now there's nothing left." Katsuki rubbed his arm as Izuku burrowed further into the crimson eyed boy's touch, seeking any comfort he could get. After a few more minutes, Katsuki tapped Izuku's arm and stood up, pulling the other boy up with him. Izuku gripped Katsuki's hand as they silently exited the silent cemetery. They walked all the way down the three blocks to Izuku's current residence, not saying a single word and just gripping the other's hand.
Izuku pulled the other into a loose hug, burying his face into the boy's chest. "Kacchan..." He mumbled, pulling away and wrapping his arms around himself. "I wanna run away. I was never supposed to be here this long, and I'm not getting any closer to having enough money for my own place. I'm stuck, and I can't stand it." Katsuki pulled Izuku back into him, hugging the boy's small frame. "I wanna run away." Izuku repeated.
"Yeah... yeah, okay. When, Izuku? Do you need me to do anything?" Izuku shook his head, signaling that he didn't know anything himself. Bakugou sighed and rubbed the greenette's hair. "That's okay. We'll figure it out, okay? You'll be fine. I'll see you the next time you text me and say you're sneaking out again." Izuku nodded and pulled away, flashing Katsuki a small smile and hopping over the fence, climbing up the back of the house and into his bedroom, given that the house was locked. Izuku closed the window and grabbed his bag.
He began to stuff clothes inside of it, along with several fully charged portable chargers and a small switchblade and cash. The blade wasn't to harm himself, the voices had been slowly going away since Katsuki started to help him. It was solely for protection, final. Izuku wasn't going to start relapsing, not like his mother had. He wasn't going to cave, not when he could still see the pinkish scars. Izuku was not keen to add more, especially when the sight of blood only made it all worse.
Izuku sighed and put the bag to the side side of his bare bed frame, making a mental note to put food inside of it the next day. He settled down on the floor, silently berating himself for screwing up dinner when a few friends of Siomachi's had come over and he had burnt the food. And spilled a cocktail on the white carpet. That mistake had resulted in losing his bed and more bruises and peeling skin.
He pulled out the small photo of his mother that he had taken and stared at it. Izuku still couldn't understand why he felt nothing at all as he looked at his mother, but felt it had something to do with what Katsuki has said. He needed time to get better, and that wouldn't be happening until he got out of this house. So he picked himself up and grabbed a notebook and pen. He sighed, knowing he'd be getting no sleep that night and would be berated by Katsuki for it, and began to plan.

Katsuki's POV
Another month. Another month that was filled with suspicious looks from Aizawa, worried questions from Izuku's friends, and a panic attack that Katsuki had to calm him down from when Izuku was sparring with Todoroki. The heteromachia teen had used his fire, and Izuku had panicked when it triggered a memory of his father. Katsuki was the one that came up with a cover, saying it was just some trigger from the Yakuza raid. That didn't make Aizawa let up, though.
The entire month was occupied with planning as Izuku and Katsuki came up with ways to help Izuku run away. The teachers and Nezu knew he lived with Siomachi, but not about Inko's death. Which made things slightly easier, especially since it wasn't hard to change the adress. As time passed by, Izuku had slowly been buying and sneaking in non-perishable foods and taking cash from Siomachi's wallet. That had his money in it, might Katsuki add. Izuku and Katsuki had been looking for places for Izuku to hide out in, and ways for him to sneak out, since Siomachi wasn't exactly going to just let him leave.
