"Thank you." She said and Lola embrace her. She seem shocked at first but then she relaxed. "I don miss you oh. (I've missed you)"

"I miss you too. So how were your trip and everyone at home?" Lola asked.

"They are all fine. Thank God for that. Hope the house isn't too boring for you while I was gone?"

"Not really." She answered honestly.

"I guess my boss is still at work. What happens to your face? Did something happen at home... Or is it....?" She didn't need to complete it to know what she wanted to say.

"No... It's not him and nothing happens." She lied. Deborah gives her a questioning look. "I'm serious. Just one of my neighbours at home died in an accident."

"Oh! I'm sorry about that."

"It's fine. It will pass." She said.

Deborah nodded and decided to lighten the mood. "I bought some elubo (yam flour) and fresh fish." She said.

Lola grinned. She knew how good the yam flour of her people are.

"Wow, that is good. Let's go prepare something to eat." She said climbing down from the couch she was sitting on. Deborah smiled and she nodded. And they both left the room to the kitchen.

Demilade dropped his bag on the centre table in his room. And he began to take off his blazer since he didn't wear a complete six pieces suit that day. He loosen his tie and threw it on the bed. He did the same with his shirt and underwear before going to the bathroom to take his bath.

The moment he step out of his shower with a towel wrapped around his torso and another one in hand, he heard his phone ring. It was on the white cupboard on the floor.

He walked over to the cupboard and picked up the phone.

"Adebayo. Can't you do without calling me in a day? I already have fourteen missed calls from you today." He complained.

"Your stupid ass should be glad that someone cares about you." He said.

        Demilade chuckles.

"So how far? Watsup? (how are you?)" He asked.

"I'm fine. Why haven't you been answering my calls?"

"I am answering it now. Why do you call?" Demilade asked.

"Always so serious. I should be angry you didn't pick up my calls but I know how busy you are. My brother's friend wants to give you a project. The man wants to build a resort in Delta state. I want to tell you ahead. He also wants you to see him." Bayo said.

"That's fine. Just send me his address. I will visit him when I get back from Tokyo. You should also send his contact so I can call and explain things to him."

"Alright then. I'll ask big bro to send it."

"Send my greetings to him and that I am grateful for the connection."

"Your work speaks for you Demmy. The man even told us he liked your work, so it's nothing."

"I'm still grateful." He said sincerely. No work is small for him and he is always grateful for the kind of connection Bayo family always render.

"No probs. I heard Yimika Davies come visiting you today after ten years." Bayo said, going straight to the point.

"Yeah, that's right." He said and he place the phone on loudspeaker and he threw it on the bed. He walked over to his wall robe to take underwear and night cloth.
