~Chapter twenty four~

"I- I-"

"Hwang Riu and Jeon Jay threw them at Nayeon sir." Mina spoke up with a calm voice

The professor looked at Mina "What?"

Mina sighed "Sir, I thought professionals like you would obviously know the answer. But you just assumed and went through it without evidence, analyzing, inferring, nor observing.. Arent you labeled the professional Science professor of Korea? Wow, a professional who doesn't even know the basics-"

"What do you want ms. Myoi.. A student who doesn't respect a proffeso-"

"Respect? For a professor who pressures, and was about to hurt a student?" Mina cut him off

"It's not hurting. I was just about to tell her-"

"Telling her words that could bring her down and discourage lowering her self esteem." Mina sighed "With all due respect professor, you don't know what we all are going through... If you don't want to kill a person, it's better to stay out of it"

Mina stood up and looked straight into their professor's eyes "I'm sick of you. Oh, and may I go to the comfort room?"

The professor didn't respond ". . ."

"Ne, thank you" Mina left the classroom

Nayeon stood there with her tears about to fall any moment

The professor was taken aback "Class dismissed" was all he said before leaving the classroom

Mina came back to see Nayeon still standing on the same spot restraining her tears

"Nayeon unnie-"

Mina was cut off by Nayeon hugging her and sobbing "M-Mina!!" She cried and hugged Mina harder

Nayeon was overflowed with agony and wretchedness

She couldn't handle it....

It was break Mina and Nayeon went to the rooftop with some snacks brought

They sat down somewhere where they would be alone

Nayeon was still sniffling, her tears wouldn't stop escaping her eye

"Unnie, how long have you been holding this up....?" Mina asked

"Why would you avoid me?" Mina continued "Most importantly, why would you hide this from us 3?"

Nayeon gripped onto her skirt as she teared up more... "Mina...." She called in a low whisper "I'm scared..."

Mina held Nayeon's hand

Nayeon was surprised at Mina's actions which made Nayeon look at her

"You got me Nayeon unnie." Mina assured

Nayeon was tearing up again, so Mina hugged her "It's ok, it's ok"

"It's not.. I avoided you and just went with Jeongyeon.. I- I-"

Mina pulled back from the hug and took the water she took with her to Nayeon "Calm down unnie.." She opened the bottle and let Nayeon drink up

Nayeon drank some water and slowly she told Mina about what she was feeling...

Nayeon revealed how her thighs earned bruises because of how hard and how many times people hit it, she has been called names like an attention seeker, has been an outcast, and has always been hurt.. "Mina, help me... I'm being bullied" she revealed

"Unnie, we should tell Yong Sun unnie and Moonbyul unn-"

"Mina doesn't, please don't tell them yet... I want to tell them myself, just not now" Nayeon told Mina "But for now, Mina stay with me.."

"But Byulie unnie-"

"Just until I resolve this.." Nayeon begged

Mina nodded "Ok unnie, but you need to laugh and smile a bit now"

"Everything will be ok" Mina smiled cutely

"Yah~~ Nayeon unnie~~~ When you can't find the sunshine~~ I'll be your sunshine~~ *insert cute penguin noises*" Mina turned red and covered her face

Nayeon stopped tearing up in sadness and pain, but instead, she laughed "What was that???" She hit and slapped the bench beside her

(And so the bench silently cried... but that's a different story- jkjk)

Though Mina was shy and embarrassed, she laughed along with Nayeon "At least I made you laugh" *insert shy penguin noises*

Nayeon laughed and hugged Mina and mess her hair up "Aigooooo still a baby~~~"

"Unnie my hairrrr~~~!" Mina exclaimed

Nayeon pulled back and grinned showing off her cute bunny tooth "Thank you Mina~~~!"

"Ne~~ Always welcome Nayeon unnie~" Mina stood up and reached both her hands to Nayeon "Let's go? We still have our last 2 classes"

"Ne~"

Mina pulled Nayeon up, and Nayeon held Mina's hand and they both continued their day...

At the end of school though...

"Yah.... where did you two run off to?" Yong Sun had her forced smile on as she spoke to Nayeon

"Why unnie did something happen?" Mina asked Moonbyul

"It was quiet and awkward-" Moonbyul and Yong Sun said in unison

"NFNXKSBXJSBDJSBSUABS!!!!"

"Thank you so much, Mina" -Nayeon

"YOU LITTLE TROUBLE MAKER WHERE TF DID YOU GO- YOU BOTH JUST TOOK YOUR SNACKS AND LEFT US BOTH ALONE-" -Yong Sun
