Chapter Two ~ Dates? Or Get-Together?

"How's that homework coming along?"

"Would it be bad if I said I haven't started it yet?"

Petra laughed.

"Just get it done already."

"Aye sir," you saluted as you ran upstairs. You jiggled the key in the lock and unlocked the door. You slammed the door behind you and jumped on the couch, kicking your shoes off. You layed in silent until a familiar Jiyuu No Tsubasa ringtone rang. You looked at your phone and answered it.

"Moshi Moshi (Y/N) Desu," you answered as a familiar voice rang on the other line.

"Hey (Y/N), it's Armin," The blondie chirped.

"Oh hey Armin, I didn't expect you to call right away," you smiled but of course, he couldn't see it.

"Well it is quite lonely in my apartment and I tried to call my other friends but they were busy with homework. It surprises me that my friend Eren even does any," Armin chuckled through the other line.

"Eren? Eren Jaeger?" You asked as that name rang a bell in your mind.

"Yeah, we're childhood friends so I know him more than anyone. Although, I guess Mikasa does know him more than me."

"These are all people from my school," you shot up frantically from your laying down postition.

"I go to Wall Rose University, what about you?"

"Same here, I was just about to get started on my homework but then I thought about it and then I'm like, hmm better not."

"It's weird that we go to the same school and never see each other," Armin chuckled through the line.

"Well I am kind of new since I started there about four months ago. I'm still a stranger to some students."

"So anyways, another reason why I called is because I wanted to ask you if we could meet again, if that's alright with you?"

"You mean like, a date?" You were madly blushing. You haven't been asked out since you turned down Pony Boy. It wasn't your fault, you liked him but you thought it would be better if he was with Freckled Jeebus. Thanks to you, they are!

"Whatever you want to call it. I don't mind if you call it a date or hanging out. I just wanted to get to know you better, that's all."

"Wow, the only people that actually wanted to get to know me at this school were Eren, Mikasa, and Marco. Jean only liked me for looks and I liked him the same way. And Sasha was basically my childhood friend. Also Petra-Sensei who has known me since I was born. Anyways, okay, so when shall we plan it? Next Friday after school or something," you waited patiently for his answer.

"Yeah, I'm free that day! Well until then, even though we'll see each other at school and stuff haha," you could tell he hasn't done this before on the tone of his voice. He stuttered a bit on his reply.

"Well, bye. Petra-Sensei will murder me if I'm not done with my homework," you joked just before hanging up.

"Whoa, my first real date. 18 and still no real date until now. Consider this achievement unlocked," you spoke to yourself while going to your fridge and pulling out a soda.

"Maybe I shouldn't call it a date, I don't even know if he likes me. Wait, does he like me? We just met today so that can't be, it's not like it's love at first sight," you laughed, sitting down on the couch, and opening Wattpad on your phone.

"Haha love at first sight said every fanfic ever."

The sounds of snoring filled the apartment as violent knocks pounded on the door. You shot up from the couch as the bowl of cereal spilled onto the floor.

"Damn it," you cursed, wiping the drool from the corner of your mouth. The knocks continued as you wobbled to the door.

"What!?" You screamed at the scared brunette.

"Good morning to you too (Y/N)," Eren sarcastically spoke.

"(Y/N)! Is it true?!" Mikasa asked from behind.

"What is?" You scratched your eyelids.

"About you and Armin? Is it true that you both are going on a date?" Eren answered with a question.

"Well more of a hang out."

"Oh that's bad..." Eren hissed under his breath.

"What? Why?"

"His girlfriend isn't gonna like this..." Mikasa followed.
