|The next day...

You and your hyungs were all sitting together inside the cafeteria, having some coffee together whilst chatting about some assignment topics for this week when you suddenly noticed Taehyung coming towards you slowly, his hands lazily placed in his pockets as that same cocky and powerful aura surrounded him, making practically everyone turn their heads to have a double-take at the male

Memories from yesterday began to unwillingly play through your mind, making you look away in embarrassment as you waited for him to pass by. Though you flinched in surprise as you suddenly felt a pat on your back, and turned to look up at the male currently staring down at you intensely with a sly smirk plastered on his lips

Taehyung: Lost something Jeon?

His words made you frown in confusion as you briefly glanced around at all the people currently looking at you two, before finally letting your gaze travel back up to him as you spoke up in annoyance

Jungkook: No, but looks like you've lost another braincell Kim. What do you want?

This earned an unamused hum out of him as he tilted his head lightly, meanwhile, your friends all watched the two of you silently in utter confusion, whispering a soft ''Oh here we go again...''

And when he suddenly held out your student ID card right in front of you, a soft yet audible gasp instantly left your lips as you swiftly reached forward to grab it, only for him to pull it away as he chuckled whilst raising an eyebrow at you

Taehyung: You need to stop forgetting things with me Jeon, or are you perhaps doing it on purpose to make chances to see me again?

You rolled your eyes and gritted your teeth, quickly snatching your card back from his hand as you huffed

Jungkook: Don't be delusional Kim.

He only let out yet another breathy chuckle before finally walking off, and you sighed softly as you could feel almost the whole cafeteria curiously glancing over at you right now, not to mention your friends whos jaws were all dropped in shock

Yoongi: Hold up- what just happened?

You nibbled lightly at your bottom lip as you lowered your head, eyeing the potions book in front of you which suddenly looked oh so interesting

Jungkook: Nothing...

Jimin tilted his head clearly not believing your poor attempt at lying as he bit back an amused chuckle

Jimin: Did you two- again?!

His loud tone made you instantly hiss out a warning to him whilst trying to hide the embarrassed blush currently creeping up onto your cheeks

Jungkook: P-please lower your voice hyung!

A soft sigh left your lips as you rubbed the back of your neck lightly, knowing they were not gonna believe your lies even if you tried

Jungkook: Gah fine... y-yes it just.. happened...

Hoseok: Knew it! Hand the 10$ over Yoongz

Your jaw dropped in disbelief as you looked at the two of them, feeling your blush only darken 

Jungkook: You made a bet again?!! Well at least Yoongi had some faith in me...

Yoongi cleared his throat as he handed Hoseok the money whilst shrugging, flashing you an apologetic smile as he muttered out a correcting response

Yoongi: Actually.. the bet was on whether you'd admit it happened a second time or not...

Jimin giggled and softly clapped his hands meanwhile you just covered your face in utter humiliation

Jungkook: Oh my god you guys are unbelievable... 

Nonetheless, Jimin reached over and patted your back reassuringly as he smiled softly

Jimin: Sorry we're teasing you Jungkook-ah, but hey no one blames you. After all, you didn't do anything wrong!

You smiled softly as you looked at them before shaking your head, knowing damn well you did do something wrong, just not regarding the same topic...

Jungkook: Right...

Hoseok tilted his head as he looked down at you, his facial expressions suddenly changing to a more concerned one as he switched the topic

Hoseok: I've been meaning to ask this for a while now Kook, but what happened to your hand and arm? They're all bandaged up, are you okay?

This made your breath hitch softly from surprise as you automatically found yourself somewhat guarding the injured arm, eyes nervously traveling between their worried ones as you paused for a bit before speaking up 

Jungkook: Oh- uhm I was... I scratched it when I was doing something... so it just happened

Yoongi: Twice on the same arm? Different times? You got the one on your arm a couple of days ago..?

You stood up and gathered your things whilst forcing a smile, softly shrugging as you let out a breathy giggle

Jungkook: Yeah weird isn't it? Has someone put an unlucky curse on me or something? Anyway, I just realized I need to go return this book to the library, I'll see you guys later!

They nodded and bid you goodbye before you swiftly walked off, feeling like your heart was about to beat out of your chest from the nerves

Once you got to your locker, you put away all your things except for the book and then leaned against the lockers whilst sighing softly

Jungkook: I need to tell them when I go back... Before he can...
